SSN just running a poll on who will be champions and so far its 67% for the Arsenal, sounds fair to me, they had some pretty dreadful injury problems last season and I can't see that happening again (except wilshire:)).
Still see them getting one ot two more in so like it or not this is their best opportunity for ten years.
Arsenal to win it for me, Chelsea and City in the mix United most likely to lose top four as I still think God help them if Carrick gets a knock or two.
Liverpool ought to be the best bet to replace them with the money they've spent this summer but still a fair chance for us.
Don't know enough about other leagues other than the obvious but I'm definitely going for Real Madrid in La Liga, the fat waiter will get the better of Barca.

Looks like I got quite a few things wrong - Rooney Top Scorer !?!, Mourinho manager of the year! Schweinstiger player of the year!!!
Looks like I got a few right though - Rodgers was the first manager to be sacked. Dele Alli break out star, and my outlandish prediction for Tottenham to challenge for the title -thanks for the optimistic rating on that one @Gbspurs

You're welcome. Mine were so wrong it hurts (Leicester to finish bottom ) but given I'm a spurs fan you can guarantee that the only one I will get right by the end of the season is Arsenal winning the league #spursy #thinktankcansuckmyballs #iknowthisisnttwitterimjustbeingironic

Well I was certainly wrong about Champions Chelsea and 20th placed Leicester. My Benteke and Toby predictions for worst and best signing look decent, top scorer and best players look off the mark and Bilic is still in charge of the spammers. Pretty confident all the European predictions will come true with the exception of Europa which we will obviously win.

Nailed it.

Not quite sure why I thought Milner guiding Liverpool to a 5th place finish would earn him signing of the season, but there you go

Mate, those are some of the worst pre-season predictions I've ever seen. I mean, no one saw this coming, but it's still funny to look back at :D

Still on for getting the FA Cup right though

Are we going to do a points total at the end of the season?

And what would the answer to best and worst signings be? Toby, Alli, or Kante for best, Benteke for worst ?

Not too bad with the predictions in the end. Giving ten points for each right answer I've got 130 points. I think I put the Charity Shield answer after the match so I'll say 120 points. I'm sure that's not the highest though.

Lol this thread just shows how much we know before the start of the season & the pointlessness of trying to predict how things will turn out!

Not really. This thread just proves how we all thought it would be a normal year with the usual suspects making up top 4. No one could have predicted Leicester and us making top 4 over United and Chelsea. It was an odd year and one not likely to repeat itself.

Improvements to the squad are necessary and must be made this summer If we are to finish top 4 again, which will likely mean we finally finished above Arsenal. We cant fuck this opportunity up. We lucked into CL in the odd year. Now we must capitalize on it and ensure our progression as a club.

Bit odd that you had us to challenge for the title but finish 5th. Could have got more points!

I thought we might be in with a chance for a while but fade after Easter as injuries and tiredness caught up with us.
