There are plenty that aren't in it to make money. I know Enic are an investment company but everything I have heard re Lewis and more so Levy is that there is no intention to sell the club(none what so ever). I was told all the way through those strong Cain Hoy rumours that the club was definitely not for sale, and this remains the case. Just because they are business men, and are not going to pump their own money into the club that does not mean they don't have the clubs best interests at heart. They are both long time fans after all.
Yep and I've not said a bad word against either of them

2016 / 2017 - Normal kit

2016 / 2017 - WHL final season special edition kit

2016 / 2017 - Premier league winners special kit

2016 / 2017 - Champions League kit

2016 / 2017 - England Hotspurs Euro 2016 champions kit

We will have a different kit per game next year, Levy will love it.

2016/2017 last NLD at the Lane kit.

Looks like the potential kit pics are starting to come out for next season.

Sure this will be the first of many with none of them being the actual kit but for now a chance to go through first thoughts

My first thoughts
  • Sponsor bit too big,
  • Collar more polo shirt than kit
  • Selves nice
  • Not keen on lime of sponsor for away but would really like it with white sponsor / logo

I'm liking the home kit (not that I would ever buy one). It looks so much better without that streak of birdshit down one side of it.

Next seasons kit is gonna be a tricky one, 117 years ago when we started playing at WHL the kit was white top, blue shorts and blue socks and its remained pretty much the same ever since.

Perhaps an all-white kit may be appropriate for our last season in the current stadium to reflect our history as the first British club to win a European trophy? We did similar the season after we won the UEFA cup in 84.

Fair dos - each to his own. I personally think all white looks pretty cool.

Maybe an all gold kit to go with those gold BPL shoulder badges we're gonna be wearing next season?

(Fucking jinxed it now ain't I)

Why is it going to be tricky? Thats our colours.

I think it'll be tricky to get the balance right - it needs to be a classic, one-off kit to mark our last season at the old stadium. Yet if it's too normal it won't stand out as a one-off but if it's too radically different it runs the risk of being ridiculous.

Personally I dont think it has to be anything radically different, it will be the last shirt at the lane regardless. But as another poster mentioned, going with the original badge we used at the lane would be a nice touch. I dont see how changing our traditional colours that you think of when thinking about WHL is any sort of tribute, it's actually the opposite imo.

As long as it doesn't have the pathetic 'River Plate' stripe that this season's kit has, I'll be happy.

I'm not thinking of changing the traditional colours - the all-white kit is also traditional for us, for Euro games, some cup finals and occasionally as the home kit.

Certainly to completely change colours like the Woolwich did in their last season would be inappropriate.

Edit - it may not have been obvious but the idea of all gold was only a joke!

The all white would lose it's appeal on Euro nights if it were used like that though. I think a special traditional themed badge with a golden cockerel could be good if done right.

Totally destroyed it.

I wear the purple one and the old under armour one to the gym. The one from the season we lost to West Ham 3 times.

Not that I bare a grudge...

and the reason I've never liked it as all white as a home kit for the League is we have only ever had 1 good league season wearing it 86/87. I just prefer the white tops, blue shorts, and deep down white socks (the 1st kit I got at 6years old playing football in the snow on Christmas day)
