Jesus, I did fucking terrible today - bookies must have lapped it up!

Gigginstown cleaned up though - Balko looking so calm and when Townend was off the bridle with two out UDS wasn't going to lay a glove on him.

On a side note, did anyone see the betting slip from a guy who won £50k odd today?!

Yeah that was mental. I saw it on Twitter ( the horse racing is probably the only time I even bother with Twitter).

Just looked at the scores . Don’t know whether to be pleased or pissed off as I’m joint top on here, but have actually had two really poor days with the bookies . All my winners have been with multiples which are mostly dead and my places have been with horses I’ve only bet on to win .

So this morning I was getting picked up for my day out at Cheltenham at 8am.

I posted my picks at 7:55 and it really was a last second write anything down move.....

So how did my day go. Baring in mind my bet on course is normally £40 a race.

1:30 I split my bet £20 on Terrefort and £20 on Shattered love winning £120
2:10 This was my community bet (everyone that goes from our group has a £20 bet and we draw which race each person has their bet in) so I had a £60 bet on Glenloe (£40 of my own money).... beaten by a neck ... frustrating but hey ho.
2:50 God know why I put Douvan on my predictor.... just time and putting something down...that said, I did no better in real life having backed Un De Sceaux so nothing lost.
3:30 I went Sam Spinner and a mate offered me a free £10 bet (as this was the 15th year I'd organised our Chelt trip) so I went for Super Sundae on that... Nothing back.
4:10 I've fancied The Story Teller all week, wasn't go to change upped my stake so we are in profit.
4:50 It was alays going to be Laurina but having just won a couple of hundred I upped my stake again and won.
5:30 Quick £10 bet as I walked back to the Limo. Nothing from it.

So just got home... Community bet winnings (15 people x £20 bet) we bought 1 round at a pub just outside witney from the kitty and a decent tip for the driver leaves £500. We've piut £100 on a horse tomorrow and the rest we are going to knock off our tickets next year.

and my wallet, I just checked has £530 in it (I left this morning with £160 and I was owed £90 by someone that hadn't paid car and ticket yet). So taking my beer and food out, seriously £8.50 for a cheese burger! I'm well up. probably my second best day at Cheltenham in 15 years.
