Daily Mail reckon Wanyama 6 weeks about from british passport, would that make a difference to our list or not?

I may be wrong but I don’t think Rose counts as Club Trained for the CL because of his loans after he’d joined us when he was still under 21. I think he only had 07/08 where he was with us the whole season. For each of the other he had various bits of time away from the club which may make him only Association Trained.

I'm sure he is club trained, as I'm sure hte was on that list last year.

Not sure of the full rules, but from what I can see there is nothing to say that the 3 years has to be done in year blocks.

So if he spent the 2007/8 season with us, and most of the 2008/9 and the 2011/12 (not sure if that one is just in the age limit) then that makes up most of the 3 years.

He didn't spend a full season at Peterborough so makes up the rest

Excellent. I thought it was done in full seasons but I’ve just double checked and you’re right.

Banned from posting in the transfer thread but I recall an article saying how paratici was going to sort out our home grown quota.

My question is, how is this going to be done with the eventual hope of selling players like winks, Davies, possibly dier - and Bale having already not returned and the possible but slim chance HK leaving?

Gollini is a big question mark as he was trained at man u, but I don't see anybody else filling those numbers apart from the return of Skipp?

Dier isn't home grown, Davies is home grown for the league only.

Players like Skipp and Sessegnon will take up some of those places, even though they don't need to be included this season (still young enough)

What is our home grown situation looking like at the moment? Are we in any danger of being at our limits? I don't think we're being linked with many HG players at the moment.

I can't find the updated version but I found last years information.

RE: HG for the PL
So far we've lost:

Bale
Hart
Whiteman ( reports that he's headed out on loan )

But we can add
Skipp
Sessegnon
Tanganga

RE: Non-HG
We lost

Lamela
Vinicius
Toby

Added
Gollini
Romero
Gil ( is u21 so we don't need to register him this season )

In terms of the league, we're actually pretty good at the moment. The ECL is where we will need to be super creative and smart about registering players.

Good post.

We’re presumably replacing Whiteman with Austin, so that’s a like for like HG swap.

Also if Gollini counts as HG then we’ve done the same with Hart.

I will update graphic soon once transfer window closed

but at the moment
For PL
Tanganga shall be registered in HG quota
However Skipp & Sess no need to registered in this season (they born in the year 2000)

Gollini I guess that he can’t be HG quota
Gil no need to registered in PL

However the ECL we should have the problem especially in case we sold Kane and/or Winks and replaced them with non CT/AT quotas

I guess that players that need to registered in List A will more than 17 and maybe we will rest and not registered some players like Lloris or other important players

This is how I would lay it out:

HG Players: 6 from 8
Overseas Players:
14 from 17
Squad Allowance:
23 from 25
U21 Players:
3

Total Squad Size:
23

I suppose we'll have to wait until the the official registration to see where we stand.

With regard to some of our transfer targets...

Tomiyasu and Martinez would bring the overseas quota to 16 out of 17.

Lacroix would be considered U21 (I think) because he was born in April 2000, so wouldn't have an effect on the quotas this season.

There will probably be some players leaving too, which won't really have a big impact on the quotas tbh as they won't be U21 players.
