And wouldnt you know it...who's, lucky enough to face them then?

Yep, its Arsenal.

Away as well.
It's at Forest. Johnson played in the one at the Emirates.

How many have Asian Cup players on top of those aside from us?

For further context during the ACN:

We face Everton and Man U away and Brentford and Brighton at home with the Brighton game being a day after the final

The Asian Nations Cup is across almost identical dates and we lose Son

Brighton presumably lose Mitoma, Liverpool lose Endo, Arse lose Tomiyasu and Wolves (who we play after Brighton when all should be back) lose Hwang

Would still hope we can win the two home games and take a point or 2 in the aways

Lol, had a look and of course Ivan Toney's first game back is against us.

I guess he could be sold by then....

Ask me on New Years Day! 🎉

If we have won these 4 we are so back in it!

We won't win the league this season but it will be so funny to see Le Arse and Liverfool having meltdowns if we get back in it.

Obviously, Top 4 will be a hugely successful season compared to the state and expectations before it started, so I will gladly take Top 4.

It Would be class if we could win the next four. As you say would keep us just in touching distance. COYS.

I cant see us catching liverpool they know how to get over the line but while we are within 2 results of the dickheads with them having to come to us I can see us capitalising on Arteta's end of season meltdown which seems to be coming early this year.

Might be a tad too far this season, but Liverpool will be missing Salah and Matip for the AFCON. That's arguably among the most damaging miss(es) for any of the top teams and I'd be hugely surprised if it doesn't impact them to some degree.

Man United as well. Onana and Amrabat are two starters in an already disrupted side. Might help ease the pressure from the sides that are trying to catch us up.

Matip out for the season. ACL. As Konate is a bit injury prone they might be struggling a bit.

Big games today/tmrw for the 5th spot getting CL. Really need ManUtd and Newcastle do find a way to miracle.

would be just like them to crap the bed so 5th doesn’t end up getting CL and then allow us to waltz to 5th.

I wouldn’t worry about any of that yet.

The best case scenario is probably that they finish 3rd and go into the Europa League. Despite the lack of bonus points I think they'll score more in there than if they went through, given they'd likely go out in the R16. And those additional games would also help us finish above both of them in the league.

Liv and Arse still have to play each other twice in the league (and once in the cup) this season and both + Citeh have to play us in the last few weeks of the season where they may have big European semis and / or will likely be more tired than us

Long way to go and only a few points behind

Bayern never out of 2nd gear. Utd as expected. Done us no favours for 5th CL place. Badly need Newcastle to get through tonight and put Milan completely out. Italy are now 2nd behind the Germans. We are third .

I'm sure we'll have a fun second half of the season when everybody's back (and if "it all balances out over a season" then surely we're due some good luck with injuries) but it's just a case of getting through this period without Maddison, VdV and Bentancur (and Biss, Sarr and Sonny when they go away in January). If we come out of the other side in and around where we are now then we'll be in great shape for a push for the top 4.

We won’t win the league but we’ll have a big say in who does!

Apart from Villa we play all the likely contenders again in our last five games!

This is also at a time they are likely to be going deep into the cups (domestic and European). We on the other hand will hopefully (fingers crossed) have our key players back, some of which will have missed a significant chunk of the season including the usual festive fixture pile up, meaning in theory they should be relatively well rested.

If and it’s a very big if, we can get a good run of decent results up to the point VDV, Lolo, and Madders get back it could get very interesting!

Was just looking at our end of the season fixtures, could be interesting as you say.
