i don't think you're 4th striker can be proven top quality. I think we'd ruin a great player treating him like that. A youth player or an older seasoned pro that would love to be at spurs even if it meant a place on the bench and the occasional start.

Dave Kitson for me. Seriously. He'd work hard, he'd play hard, he has some quality, he has a different dimenision about his play. He'd never complain about his roll and would have front row seats to watch his beloved Spurs.

As I said we dont need a 4th striker, but if we were to get one we should use one of the youth players when necessary and it would have a two way effect. We would not have to spend and the youth player would get valuable experience.

Davros also had a good alternative. Get a player in the twilight of their career who would not be expensive and would not be expected to play most weeks. When called upon they would have the experience to slot right in. As he also said he would be a mentor for the young ones. No one comes to mind but I am sure they are out there. Beatie?

Spurs fan, always does well against us.

Questionable temperament as well as the "obvious problem".

Not sure he would be happy warming our bench.

I think his temperament is solid?!! isn't it? I must admit if it isn't it's past me by a bit.

Gingerness is fine... hasn't held back scholes and certainly didn't affect Sammer, Effenberg. Perry groves and Gary Doherty are perhaps very good counter examples though!

I think we'd be the only club he'd be happy to warm our bench.
