So, groundhog day has basically been guaranteed, we're missing out on the EL to West Ham of all clubs!

7th would get us into the shithouse of a competition that would be an embarrassment to even win! A third tier European league where the winners get into the EL - which just a couple of seasons ago we'd have preferred not to qualify for!

Now I'm pretty sure we want to finish above Arsenal, even if it means being in that grasp ECL.

But what if it's Everton we lose out to. Do we prefer to have to play in the ECL? Or finish 8th and concentrate on finishing higher up the league next season, like Chelsea & Leicester did when they last didn't have European games to screw up their season?

If we qualify for the Conference bollocks we can send the kids to play in the group stages (if there even are group stages... fuck... I know nothing about this competition) so it could be good for experience for them. Otherwise 8th.

I said 8th, but on balance probably ECL as an opportunity to bed in some youngsters.

8th.

We need a free season to rebuild the ship. The new manager needs the time between matches to coach this lot.

I'm actually quite excited to see what a new manager could do with 1 game a week and a smaller squad.

It also means we can go all out for the domestic trophies too ?

Step forward and take a bow Daniel Levy... you have led us to the promised land. Made up competitions. FFS

We wont even have the option of finishing 7th or 8th as we will most likely finish in 9th behind Arsenal.

We have become a very poor, mediocre team. We have talented individuals but have not played like a team on a consistent basis for a very long time.

If not being in Europe means we cut our squad to a smaller group plus youth then I’m happy to miss out

Voted 7th, it would mean beating Leicester and finishing above Arsenal, hence my vote.
Highly unlikely it will happen, mind.
