I'm sure a few of us will look at the Pompey results to see if he scored, much the same as looking at Southend, Colchester etc. Oh, and Grampus 8 when Big Ears went there!
An obvious comment, i know, but JD looks a lot happier.....and good for him!

As someone wrote earlier JD wanted first team football and i can not blame the guy for leaving.

I am sure he will get a big ovation when he returns to WHL to play against us.

The thing with Simon Davies and Stephen Carr was they were never the same players after their respective injuries, and anyway, they both signed for smaller clubs with little chance of winning a trophy.

And anyone who has checked Southend's results will see that Barney's scored four goals in five games for them. I think we made a slight miscalculation there.

Barney's been great for Southend so far, but it's a long way from League 1 to the PL.

Think he'll turn out to be a quality Championship striker who might get a few seasons in a struggling PL club.

Oh, yes. But I would far sooner have him as back-up to our first-choice trio than Pekhart. Would we have let him go if we'd known 'arry was going to come in with a late offer for JD?

So much for a shit thread ??? Still going strong after 3 days !!!

I think it's brilliant. This thread has taken the place of the convo thread on chat. By the way, it's really wet here today and I hope Defoe gets into Europe with Pompey this year.
I just don't like that clown with the blue dreads and the bell. He does my head in.

Can we have a little sympathy for Stephen Carr, he left us to better himself and I think he has done that, he plays regularly for toon without too much competition for his place.

He sure as shit wouldn't get within a mile of our side now!
