What did Defoe do to deserve a dig like that? Decent player who really wanted to play for us, scored goals, and wished our current players good luck before the game. I am sure leaving us for a smaller club was a difficult decision for the lad, but for him it was all about playing football.

Carr on the other hand...
Well to be honest he left a while ago and doesn't have too many trophies to show for his time at Newcastle. Had he stayed with us then I am sure our recent managers would have replaced him by now, if that makes any sense at all, so it really doesn't matter anyway.
