Not sure atm, it's difficult for sure as our dosh is limited. Ideally we need Mitchell to work come magic.
I think any conversation between Mitchell and Poch about a new LB would last about 0 seconds. Because it won't happen.

Well, it appears your rhetoric is on par in quality with your opinion on Danny Rose. I haven't followed this thread, neither have I any idea of your previous opinions on Rose but you just stink of "I don't like him because I don't like him".

We'll see what happens in the summer. I don't think Davies/Rose is gonna work as our LB solution.

Upgrade on Rose if possible and have him duke it out with a new LB. Davies might just have to be moved on/loaned. The guy is a good player but he just has no pace.

Dude, you disagree, that's fine with me.

I don't think he's good enough for where we want to be.

You guys talk about 4th this and 4th that...you make me laugh.

But "where we want to be" is completely subjective!!! Is he a good enough left back for a team competing for a top 4 spot? Abso-fucking-lutely. However I respect you have your own opinions, we'll agree to disagree.

This is exactly where we disagree.

Rose is definitely starting to blossom. It wasn't that long ago that I was as close as it gets to actively disliking one of our own players, but he's impressed me quite a few times this season.

Having said that, we have one of the worst defences in the league so he needs to show more than just an improved attitude if we want to progress.

They ain't listening. Everything is tip top and he's the best thing since sliced ham and we don't need to replace walker either...he'll 'come good'.

Everything is fine.

I don't think it's a case of needing new personnel (although Walker is currently very concerning) as much as needing to organise and coach the ones we have appropriately. Throwing new players at is isn't going to solve our systemic problems.
No one's throwing anything anywhere. We need to target very specific qualities for our FB positions.

Oh I agree with that - but do you really think that the full-backs are the root cause of the issues in our game now? I just don't think that an upgrade in that area will have the holistic improvement effect we need elsewhere.

They are a crucial element in this system.

Improving those positions will help us incredibly. Trust me.

I'm sure we'll bring in other options for other positions to fill the spaces made by summer sales as well.

We get the FBs right though and that is a huge step forward imo.

I hope you're right. Think a RB is a must.

I would be very surprised though if we bought another left back - they might not match the criteria but, with Rose improving and Davies still a young, developing player it doesn't strike me as a position Levy would want to invest further in with other priorities.

You might be right. It'd be a mistake not to though imo. Anyway, we'll see. Interesting summer ahead.
