Horrible news. Can hit anybody in a totally indiscriminate way. Get well soon Azza.

I hope he makes a full recovery but this was not "indiscriminate". Lennon has been a hardcore drinker and druggie for years. He did not have the right guidance. Thankfully Poch is dealing with players development both on and off the pitch.

Yes this is first hand knowledge.

A fave of mine, buzzing around on those little legs of his, especially in Redknapp's 4-4-1-1 team. I have no idea about the truth (or not) of the comment by shao above but I agree with mawspurs. Let's hope the care sorts him out and he can make a proper recovery.

Good luck mate. Always gave his best for us and I'll never forget when he scored in 4-4 draw with the scum. Back then a draw was great result and his reaction showed him a lillywhite through and through.

I hope this isn't true, or if it is, he can get the help he needs to get clean. You do hear about players having problems like this, usually it's rumour and innuendo, but I wonder what the coaches are doing if a player is showing up to training in bad physical shape. Most of us would struggle with the basic training drills players do every day but if they show up after drink or drug sessions it must be visible to coaches.
