I hope this isn't true, or if it is, he can get the help he needs to get clean. You do hear about players having problems like this, usually it's rumour and innuendo, but I wonder what the coaches are doing if a player is showing up to training in bad physical shape. Most of us would struggle with the basic training drills players do every day but if they show up after drink or drug sessions it must be visible to coaches.I hope he makes a full recovery but this was not "indiscriminate". Lennon has been a hardcore drinker and druggie for years. He did not have the right guidance. Thankfully Poch is dealing with players development both on and off the pitch.
Yes this is first hand knowledge.
