Probably Bet365 or Ladbrokes. I use Paddypower but that's because I bet on too many horses. For single match betting you would probably want to use betfair.

Okay, I've just opened an account with Betfair. I don't understand the accumulator shit, I used to just click on loads of matches and the odds would accumulate and I'd bet £1 on them, so £1 in total. How do I do that? :?

I've never used betfair for accumulators but I think on the football option you have to click where it says "multiples". Then look for the UK coupon.

Yeah I found multiples, I dont want to do that. I only want to bet £1 in total on a big accumulator.

I found this; but I dont understand how if you bet more you win less, on what looks like the same odds:

Which one do I click on for them to all win?

AH shit, I just want to do a big accumulator, so a £1 bet could potentially return £250.

First click on multiples then football coupon, this should give you a list of all the matches you can bet on. As you select a match you get a list on the right hand side of all the games you picked, underneath that should be an option for doubles, trebles ect...

I think minimum bet on betfair is £2.

I keep trying to do an accumulator/combined bet but no bookies I ask seems to be able to do one.

I've tried the Mansion stand in the south stand foyer and they said they can only do single bets. Fair enough so this time I tried William Hill next to the south stand.

I wanted to put a single stake on two advertised bets (Spurs result and Spurs anytime scorer) both coming in but the clerk had no idea what I meant. The manager just said "check the specials" and when it wasn't there said I had to do 2 single bets, both with rubbish odds.

On wiki it spreads the bets across different matches where as I want to lay 2 bets on the same match. Is that what's causing the problem? Or are there only very certain bookies that can do accumulators?

Betting kiosks at football grounds are limited in what they offer Punky, place your bet/s at a regular shop or online.
It sounds to me that the bet you wanted was a "Score cast", choosing the scorer and final score?
Robbie Keane and a 3-0 win v Fulham would pay 40/1....but, if you want an anytime scorer and result you will have to write it out on a slip and check if the shop will accept it, some wont because they see it as a conflicting bet.

The odds you get on first scorer will be Modric @ 9/1 and the correct score Spurs win 4-1 @ 25/1, but if you combine them in a double you will not get the pair at 9/1 X 25/1 = 260/1. (Returns £260.00 for a £1 stake).
You will get just 170/1 for the double (Scorecast)...total bastards!

BUT!....If you have Spurs win 4-1 and have first goalscorer from another game, say, L Saha - Everton @ 9/1 then they will accept that as a double @ 259/1....
Anyway, as i said, do your accas on line, or in a high street betting shop!

Anytime scorers are usually 1/3 of the first scorer odds, ie, 10/1 = 7/2 or 10/3.

Cheers for that Houdini, much appreciated.

I have tried to do it in a bricks-and-mortar William Hill (the one next to the Bell and Hare) for the Leeds match but they didn't seem to be able to do it either. Now I know I can definitely do it i'll persevere on with another bookies. Its suprising that even the manager doesn't know what to do.

The only thing i'm not clear on is the the conflicting bet bit with an anytime striker and result?

Thanks again mate.

To place any kind of double there has to be 2 selections from different events, unless it's correct score and First goalscorer. I don't really no why but them's the rules. How i'd get round it is anytime GS from 2 games and final result from the same games but put the bets on like this.

GS team 1 & result team 2
GS team 2 & result team 1

Sorry Punky, i meant to say 'Related Contingencies' ....not conflicting!

If you have a bet, say, HT-FT Spurs-Spurs and Spurs to win (90 minutes), this would mean, if the first part won, then the second part would automatically be a winner, it is called a 'Related Bet" or classed as 'Related Contingencies', and these are not accepted or paid out on.

Cheers again mate.

I'll try another bookies on the High Street and see what happens. I prefer doing an anytime scorer but if they won't let me i'll go with a score cast.

I do an anytime scorer acca most weeks, using penalty takers and midfielders that regularly score.
