Chadli cost us £7 million at 24 years old coming in from a new league, Lallana would cost us £25 million and upwards at 26 years old. I'm not saying Chadli is better than Lallana, you can see that from the stats, but he's really not far off and has the potential to overtake him IMO and at 2 years younger with a season's worth of PL experience under his belt, I honestly think we should stick with what we know.

Lallana has more goals and assists but Chadli was showing real promise towards the end of last season and I'm sure Poch can work the same magic on Chadli that he used on Lallana and Rodriguez.

If Poch can bring Chadli on half as well as he has Jay Rodriguez we might have something, I could see Chadli operating that same LWF position that Rodriguez played. Point being I don't think we really need to buy half of Southampton's team, and if Poch really is the real deal he should be able to do similar with our squad.

Don't know if Chadli can score as many as Rodriguez, but I think he's got more assists in him. Either way I totally agree with the bit in bold.

I'm really excited to see what he can do with some of our players that have been underwhelming to this point in their Spurs careers. In my opinion, Holtby, Lamela, Chadli, Paulinho (Although he wasn't as bad as a lot of people try to make him out to be) and potentially even Soldado could really benefit from a set plan that utilizes tactics and also can bring the best out of a player by utilizing their individual talents.

Had ITK today that we still want another winger and our talking with Bayern still for Shaqiri but if this fails we could fall back to Konoplyanka.

All these recents links to more and more players, especially wingers when just signed AL, says to me Suarez is gone but that might just be me being a pessimist.

Ugh. It would sicken me to watch Kono sit on your bench in most league games while he would not only improve us dramatically, but I think work very well under Poch.

With Lambert, Shaw and it looking like Lallana going, I wonder if they will block Lovren from leaving.

Their ITK posters on saintsweb seem to have been indicating for a few weeks now that both Lovren and Schneiderlin were gone, and they didn't really have a choice in the matter. They also seemed to have picked up the beat of their drums recently that more will be going even after those sales, especially pertaining to Schneiderlin.

I feel sorry for saints fans, manager gone, 5 out of the 6 most important players gone or going and the other important player has a serious injury.

I do too honestly. I probably spend five minutes max there a day looking for some of their ITK, but even in that short amount of time it was rather clear to see saintsweb was a rather dark place today. Those Schneiderlin quotes hit hard, because most of them were still in denial in his case or had no idea altogether.

It is quite sad. I don't think I've ever seen a club have so much hope and promise, coupled with the naivete of not having been at the top recently to experience some of the rapid changes in modern big league football. Most of them are just entirely oblivious to how this all goes down, which makes this crumbling apart all the worse on them.

Many of them are fuckin (understandably) hacked at us, and seem to only be reading the tabloids so think Lovren to 'pool is assured and Schneiderlin to Arsenal, so I can only imagine the sheer extent of their vitriol if we were by some stretch to pull in both of them (not entirely unlikely IMO).

ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS A WEEK.

More than any Spurs player has ever been paid by the club.

The wage disparity between ManU/City/Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool and the rest is insane.

I am glad we not paying that for him !!
Why? It's not (I assume) your money? I don't get this obsession many Spurs fans have with how much is paid for a player. If they're good players, and Lallana is very good, then as a supporter that's all that matters to me. I'm sure Liverpool are really worried about us sniggering at them for actually identifying a player they want and buying them.

Not pessimistic, you're being realistic, which makes a change from most Liverpool fans.
