It's okay mate. I like to help people who don't know what they're talking about.

Anyways, in re: to Lallana and other options, he's still a solid option. He's better than the likes of Shaqiri and Kono, whilst Alexis is almost nailed on to go to Juventus imo. Griezmann could end up at PSG or someone of that calibre too. Not realistic sadly.

Better than Shaqiri? Ok. 'I like to help people who don't know what they're talking about', very scathing. Hurts when somebody as enlightened as you rips me to shreds. Consider me put in my place. Publicly shamed. Mods pls ban me, can't face being on here now the mighty LiamJM10 has given me what-for.

Why no one is looking at roberto firmino whom i think is much better footballer than the likes of lallana or kono and he is only 22 years old as well !! Also he will not be expensive as well

Just recently signed a new contract mate, but good player nonetheless and never a bad recommendation (y)

Liverpool are believed to have made an improved bid of £25m for Lallana. As much as I think he'd be brilliant for Spurs, I'd probably say that's money that we could use to improve the defence.

Typical. He's good
Yep, definitely looks like he's Liverpool bound.

Would of loved him here.
It's irrelevant if Southampton reject the bid and Liverpool (as expected) refuse to bid more because we simply could not match the money they are paying...

Not for that sort of money though, surely?

I would have been happy if we'd got him for, say, £15m, but with players like Bony apparently available for £20m I think the money could be put to better use.

To be honest I don't think this is done and dusted, not right now anyway - Southampton are under no obligation to listen to a "final" offer three months before the window closes and weeks before he can show his talents at the biggest sporting event on Earth.

He'll probably go to Liverpool but not until after the World Cup, at the least imo.

Which according to Tony Barrett and The Guardian and our best ITK he has done.

They received a £25m take it or leave it offer today. We will not go a penny higher. Besides the Liverpool based Journos in the Broadsheets, our next best ITK now is a lad on Twitter (@Karlton81). Hes told us the player is desperate to get the move and will only move to LFC, so he says, but will he be desperate enough to rock the boat and/or hand in a transfer request as thats prob going to be needed to get Saints to deal at £25m? I don't reckon he will imo.

It seems his only deal-breaker is CL which is the only reason we're at the head of the queue. Was/is a Bluenose too.

Hope Liverpool get him instead of Shaqiri. I think he is a great player (very good passing for a wide player) but not worth 25m. And I think Shaqiri is better so I hope Liverpool don't get him.

We've made a bid for Shaqiri but he is defo plan B to Lallana and poss done just to hurry up Saints. He's up for leaving Bayern and coming to the Prem but Bayern don't seem to be too keen on selling.

I think some are underrating how expensive Rodriguez is going to be. He was one of the best LBs in the world last year.

Wolfsburg I'm told are pretty well off and have no reason to sell. They want HUGE money for him. Him & Shaw were both on our LB shortlist but we baulked at the asking prices so putting all our eggs in a Moreno shaped basket instead for £16-18m which we believe is better value for money.

At £25m they are welcome to him. Stupid money for a player who has really done it for only one season in the PL. Any wonder why we and other clubs tend to shop abroad....

Almost £50m the blame shifters (some of us haven't forgotten Heysal as hard as they try to sweep it under the carpet) are spunking on Lallana, Lambert and Moreno. Let that sink in for a minute.
All this wanting over them last season and this summer have any of our fuckwit journo's and pundits actually looked at their net spend since they were last in the CL? Their fans were always quick to point at their net spend when Rafa was there but now conveniently overlook this fact....

What's wrong with net spending? It's only banned at Spurs, it seems. Moan about the price all you want but Lallana is an excellent player and far better than what we have.

25m is absurd! Hope he goes there for that when you consider how much better they could of spent that money.

Fair play to their owners tho, they have consistently backed Rodgers in the market despite most of his signings being flops.

Liverpool are the only team he'd move to and he's and Ecerton fan?

That just doesn't add up to me, CL or not (its not like you're going to win etc)
