Agreed, Paratici can get us Emerson and Moriba from Barca, Mendes gets Adama sorted out and that’s a very solid end to the window. Bonus points for offloading Tanguy, Aurier or Doherty.

I wouldn’t, not instead. We had probably the best back up striker we could get last season and it did fuck all for us in terms of our overall season success. Right now with the way Nuno plays someone like Adama is exactly what we need.

I agree with your point but a player who can dribble past 3 players easily, will create chaos, even for a low block team. It forces people to make uncomfortable decisions

I like the idea of defenders weighing up a whether to scalp that PS5 they scored through HotStock as Traore flies past them.

The Big Bad Scary Monstrous Mendes… I know a fair few folks on SC are uncomfortable with him and his way of doing things. So, anyone worried if he plays a pivotal role in getting Adama to us? Like making a deal with El Diablo?

I personally haven’t a clue what it could mean and what negative side effects this may have. But, being far too optimistic, I’m totally cool with Mendes driving this to completion. Guess it depends on what favor we will owe once he calls in his marker.

I’m not too worried because Mendes is already here. We’ve signed his managers, we’ve signed his players, we had ITK that he was helping shift some deadwood - it seems the club want him around and are using his services. We just have to hope DL + FP know how to handle him without being burned.

Don't wolves owners have shares in Mendes company so every sale he is involved in makes them more money outside of wolves.Maybe they would not let him move unless they got there extra bit..

I've come round to this now. For nothing other than the fun element it will bring.

After 18 months without going to games maybe something as simple as that is what it's really about.

Adama plus Arsenal's demise gives us fun in spades.
