I hope he plays, even if he is close to a move.
Could cause United problems.

Agreed. He's one of the biggest reasons I would watch Wolves play. Also having grown up watching United monopolise the Premier League, I unequivocally take pleasure in their demise.

Is that good or bad?
Know there were reservations about Mendes pre-season.
Not from me, Wolves have benefited greatly from his association. We don't have sugar daddy like our competitors for top four so any edge we can gain we have to take IMO.

I wouldn’t, not instead. We had probably the best back up striker we could get last season and it did fuck all for us in terms of our overall season success. Right now with the way Nuno plays someone like Adama is exactly what we need.
Son is not a back up striker. He’s quality what he does out wide cutting in. He also without fail goes missing for 15 games a season. He always seems to go on a crazy run of goals then dries up big time.

I think he was thinking Vinicius as the back up....

I am scared that he will have a man of the match performance and then wolves will refuse to sell.

If we sign him, I’ve absolutely no concerns about the output he will offer. I just love seeing Footballers dribbling past opposing players and this guy does it in 2nd gear most of the time. Phenomenal really.

This is exactly where I am at. I love to see a player taking on others and being direct. I know there will be frustration but I'll take those endorphin hits whenever I can. Theoretically we could be better off buying a striker or ball player but if this is the option and the manager wants him then I'll buy my ticket and enjoy the ride.

Could have him down the right, Bryan down the left with Son in behind Kane...

Possible with a Skipp and Hojberg double pivot in the middle. Kane probably dropping off a lot more than Son. Would be fearsome against sides that can be bullied.

Imagine him running at Arsenal's defense. They'd probably forfeit the game just thinking about it.
100% THIS! It’s not just about scaring the life out of defenders, he’ll pin back opposition fullbacks and that in itself takes the pressure off the defence. The likes of Arsenal (Tierney), Liverpool (Robertson), West Ham (Cresswell) and Chelsea (Alonso) are so reliant upon the left back providing much of their attacking threat that it’s another weapon in our armoury to nullify that threat and if they do ignore it they’ll be left wide open to the super fast counter.

For me, In addition to Kane staying and Son extending, this guy is the game changer that will really allow us to challenge for the top four. Let’s hope it gets done.

Tbh I still like the idea of Gil in the front three more than Traore but sometimes things aren't working and you need to change things up. Can imagine few people as impactful as Traore for coming in and fucking up an opposition gameplan.

He's such a good option to have.

I really think we get this one over the line tbh, he will be amazing for not only the counter attacking tactic we employ but also for the unlocking of teams who sit back and defend.

We are never challenging the top four unless we get 2 midfielders in. We have no creativity at all without ndombele. We are 6th at best if we have a good season maybe 5th fighting it out with Leceister

I think he would be useful today. Son and Bergwijn both always come inside and it allows Watford to surround them. We need someone more direct to get on the outside. Gil can add that but he is also a playmaker who can roam. Traore would give us another dimension to take players on the outside and unbalance them. I feel we're too static out wide at times taking a touch and then looking for a ball into the box. If we have someone who just gets on the ball and runs at opponents it will pull players around and open space.
