What about the league cup?

What about it? Lets assume for the moment that Ade can be placed on the League Cup roster. Why on earth would he want to do that - after Spurs locked him out of the other competitions? And, why would Spurs want to invite him back for training for those matches. just to send him away afterwards?

Ade is gone - he has been gone since last season. I am pretty sure I read some quotes from Poch that he told Ade earlier this summer, that Ade would not be part of the team this year.

Its time to move on.

I think Adebayor already has a nice little earner agreed to play in Qatar. It's why he recently converted to Islam.Their transfer window doesn't close until Sept 30th. I reckon we should ask for £10M and give him some of his own treatment but we'll probably let him go on a free.

IMO, his antics just scream mental health issues.

When you can't motivate yourself for country or club and the millions in cash and platitudes that can bring/return then something is wrong.

People are more motivated when they have nothing and want something. When you have enough money to do what you want when you want and can still earn the same by doing nothing it is fairly normal behaviour. Sadly we hope to sign competitive sportsman that want to achieve in their career. Ade doesn't fall even near to this category.

The only way he will get his motivation back is when he is earning nothing (End of his contract) and that will probably last until he has his next contract.
