I really hope you're joking A&C.
Well erm, no, sorry, at the time I wasn't. I saw a photo with a post saying they were gloating and took it at face value. So yeah, it looked bad. It's since been demonstrated that they use these cool street gestures or whatever they are all the time, so i'm happy to have been proven wrong. And having no issues with the length of my tallywhacker, I have no problem at all in saying that :D

I don't care about the picture myself it's clearly avb they have/had the problem with. Clean slate under the new manager and show us what they can do. I want to see ade and soldier together properly.

The fact that you even looked in to it at all is disgraceful. Truly disgraceful.

Now turn around, drop them, and find something to bite down on. I'm going to enjoy this.

Ade needs to be sold and we need a serious, committed striker brought in in Jan.

Deserves to be given a chance under a new manager IMO.

He was great under Harry. AVB, for whatever reason couldn't get the best out of him. If he comes back into the team you will see a different Ade. The fact that he goes to games to watch us when he doesn't have to should be a good thing for fans to see.

I think it's hilarious how many people this guy cons.

How does he keep getting away with it?:D

5 fingers? seriously?

If they were taking the piss, one of them would be holding up 5 and other other 0. It's clearly either a nothing hand jesture or, or, at a push, if you really want to make something of it, perhaps a 3-2, taken at half time when we were 2-0 down. But I doubt that as well.
i think they were just trying to count.

Got to be given his chance now, I am a huge Soldado fan and have all the respect in the world for Defoe, but Adebayor is absolutely unplayable on his day and on the evidence of this season I am putting down his poor output last year to AVB's system.

Funnily enough, I think the great game was a jibe at AVB. Naughton was cut up in Benny's position, whilst nobody got a shot on target. The 5 fingers were unintentional for me though.

Yes he is a lazy, difficult sod.

I can understand why AVB got frustrated with him after his performances last season. Adebayor has a big ego and can be very selfish, rarely putting the team first.

But leaving him out means we've only got 2 strikers. Both are relatively small poachers who generally would thrive playing off a bigger striker.

This is business, it's not personal. Tottenham has to come first.

Should AVB swallow his pride and get Adebayor back on the pitch?

If he plays well then AVB wins anyway. If not, leave him out again.

I can't see us getting top 4 with just two first team strikers.

I say get rid of adebayor, only played well until he got himself a contract and his best days are gone, we need him off wage bill even though Man City contributing and if so maybe new manager coming in can get a striker he wants.

Only played well until he got a contract or only played well until AVB entered the fray (and suddenly we don't have a single striker capable of doing anything)?
