Rossi in his teens played 12 games for Utd, I don't know the exact amount but I'd hazard a guess the majority of those were from the bench, he scored 4 goals. Utd at that time had Rooney, Van Nistelrooy, Saha and were about to sign Tevez, Rossi asked to leave as he knew his game-time would be limited. He went to Villarreal and has been a mega hit, so much so that outside of Messi and Ronaldo he was the most productive player in La Liga last season and the reason why Barca are/were so interested in signing him.
