Looks like he is back again.

If, and it is a big if, we can get him firing on all cylinders and playing to his full potential then he would be a big asset over Christmas and allow a bit of rotation up top.

I just don't know if his heart is in it at the moment to really play for the team.

Let's see how he returns and if he can get on without causing any divide/problems.
Can't do any worse than Bobby.

Still isn't the medium/long term answer though.

Agree. Both are not the answer, but Adebayor - if he can be motivated, could be a very good option when the games are coming thick and fast.

At least we know he will deliver if he's in the mood lol.

A spell on the sidelines usually has the desired effect for a limited time.

In any case, did anyone envisage in the summer we'd be so reliant on Harry Kane?!

I still stand by the argument of a few weeks ago that Soldado deserved to be ahead of Ade for what he can bring to the team in terms of build up play, but even as Bobby lover despite the goal against Everton I cannot say that he has taken his chance to cement himself as our 1st choice striker. Especially after a lacklustre performance yesterday where we didnt even see his great attitude and instead a poor work rate, it could be a great time to give him a rest and also take some pressure off of Kane if Ade can come back motivated.

If there was some behind the scene malarky (Kanegate etc) then we need to be careful if we are going to re-intergrate him in to the squad. We are far from great at the moment but we do at least look like we have started to nurture some togetherness and spine. Throwing Ade back into the equation may throw things out of sync again. All speculation obviously.

Well Soldado has unfortunately completely failed to prove himself as worthy of a starting place, and is now playing at least as badly as Ade was before he got dropped - so no harm in Ade coming back into the side. Soldado can play the cup games.

Yep, good point.

If there's any risk of upsetting the togetherness of the team he shouldn't be anywhere near it. But who knows, just have to trust the manager's judgement on this.

If. There may have been further updates, but the last I saw jj had heard nothing about a bust-up, and another piece of ITK had claimed the club was seriously worried about Ade's mental state. Pochettino's words and actions strongly suggest there hasn't been a major ruck, and that that second item of ITK was closer to the mark.

Whatever, a fully-functioning Adebayor is almost certainly going to be better than any striker we're likely to sign in January (I honestly don't see Bony or Benteke happening), so it would probably be helpful if we got him sorted.
