Woodgate and Hutton have been absolutely quality signings. Both really looked like they wanted it playing for us yesterday, and again looking the part in the middle of the celebrations.

Hopefully there's a very bright future for a player I expect will be one of the best right-backs in the Premiership. That's if he isn't already...

awesome young player, with him, bale and gunter we have the best set of young wingbacks in the country.

Hutton is incredible - far far superior than chimbonda, much more sound defensively, and good going forward, just a shame the other players don't read his runs yet, but that will come in time.

Bet he is pleased he joined us now, :)

Even when Ramos moved lennon over to the left, and left hutton completely exposed on the right flank, chelsea still got nowhere with him.

I think he has played very well in all his games so far.

yesterday no different. As someoen else said anelka did absolutely nothing and in the end had to switch sides. that says it all to me.

He really seems to have fit into the squad well too, celebrated like he'd been here for ages.

He had a good game yesterday. He kept Anelka quiet, although did get caught out a couple of times. He's still learning his trade in the premiership, it's no surprise he'll get done a few times, but he's only played 3 or 4 games for us and he's done really well so far. Hopefully we'll see him capture his Rangers form for us next season.

On a separate note, apart from his twatty hissy fit, Chimbonda had a very good game at LB again. I watched the match again today and he hardly put a foot wrong defensively and was a threat going forward. I understand his frustration at being subbed cos he was having a very good game (although the way he went about it deserves a slap from Ramos). He shouldn't be criticised for his performance just because he was/is a ****.

Agreed with everything about Hutton, and half it about Chimbo.

Hutton's not yet shown his Rangers/Scotland form for us, which is understandable. The lads (Robbie especially) have apparently made Hutton feel at home and have done all they can to help him settle, which I think is fantastic to hear. As you said, maybe next season we'll see what Hutton can really do in a Spurs shirt. If he can reproduce the form he's shown pre-Spurs, we're in for a treat :)

On the note of Chimbonda in the final, I didn't think he had a great game, but I don't think it was his fault. I'm from the school of full backs being able to defend, overlapping with their winger, and being able to cross. Chimbonda's pretty poor at crossing on the right, and he's (understandably) even worse on the left. Defensively, I thought Chimbo was sound against Chelsea. I thought he did his defensive duties really well. Going forward though, I thought he was pretty poor, which again, is understandable. I thought he slowed the play down a lot when in possession, and he was flatly refusing to use his left foot. Out of position, you can't moan at him, and although he did a great job defensively, at 1-0 down we needed to be attacking faster than we were with PC at left-back.

i think hes a great player. he will love tottenham more and more as he plays more.

he will improve as a player when he plays more matches and gathers experience (he does a fair amount already)
