In 25 years time, Having survived a long procession of managers, he'll be on the touchline, holding a clipboard and giving tactical instructions to a substitute. No wait........

Rock solid - rarely beaten, disciplined and well positioned. Decent in the air.

Haven't shown much going forward.

I was impressed when he played for Rangers, but the drawn out saga and high price worried me, but its nice to see a player be concerned about his family's needs, and not just money.

He looks an excellent buy, very solid defensively and very good going forward. I'm very impressed

There's been a lot of fawning over him. But in fairness he hasn't really done much wrong so far.

I still feel that if Chimbo had a better "attitude" he would be better on the right, unfortunately that is not the case so the Lennon-Chimbo partnership has suffered in favour of Huttons assured yet restrained performances.

I did start to feel a little sorry for Chimbo last night having to carry the can for Joe Cole's sublime abilities.

He must feel like crap right now - out of position and having to do a left back and central defence job against Drogba, Kalou and Cole!

Perhaps it will humble him.......

In which case Ramos is a fucking genius!

I will say so far I have been pleased with the way Hutton has performed, both in defence and going forward.
As someone who posted many times I felt he was not worth the money we were paying and criticised his attitude to the transfer in the weeks leading up to it going through, I have a large slice of humble pie sitting in the fridge, which I hope will be eaten at seasons end.
In the meantime I watch and wait.

Here's hoping. If he wants to stay he is going to have to change his attitude.

But Hutton does look solid as...

Above average fullback in terms of attacking and crossing ability, but just an average fullback when it comes to opposing wingers running at him. I'm still happy we bought him though.

Fuck sake man what do you expect, a back 4 of batman, spiderman, superman and the hulk?

He is as good as it gets.

His defending is top drawer, he is a cracker player. If Ramos keeps getting it right like this, in terms of signing players, then i for one - wont be complaining.

Well, now you come to mention it...

Seriously how good would that be? The strength and Hulk and Batman in the middle, pace of Parker and Kent down the wings. Even Joe Cole would struggle to make any impact if he were caught in one of Spidey's webs.

Very impressed in every game since he came (like Woodgate).

Reminds me of Chimbonda when he gave a shit.
