Forster is wank and that's why McCarthy took his place in the team.I'd take Forster, never seen this guy play.
I'd prefer keeping Vorm in all honesty, he's very reliable.

Makes sense to have the best possible back up keeper regardless of nationality.Makes sense. No point having a foreign player as your back up goalie
Calm down Tommy Robinson... Makes sense to have the best possible back up keeper regardless of nationality.
I thought the club's had all released a list of players they were letting go in the Summer and we weren't letting anyone go through contract expiry. I could be wrong but sure I saw that.
Isn't that what Vorm did.
Yeah he was stupid. Why would you take a little more money over playing week in week out.
Why is he stupid? It's his career he can do whatever he wants.
Wow comparing someone to a far-right **** because he sees the value in freeing up another non-homegrown spot in the squad is fucking outrageous.Calm down Tommy Robinson... Makes sense to have the best possible back up keeper regardless of nationality.

My point is why is it different to any where else in the squad. Why is it better to have a number 2 keeper being English to a back up striker or midfielder? It makes no sense.Wow comparing someone to a far-right **** because he sees the value in freeing up another non-homegrown spot in the squad is fucking outrageous.
It's not even that - I assume some would be happy to promote Gazzaniga to number 2, and have an Academy youngster as number 3, thus freeing up a homegrown spot with little consequence. My point is why is it different to any where else in the squad. I'm sure you could have made your point without resorting to the insult, although TBF you seem to have removed it now.My point is why is it different to any where else in the squad. Why is it better to have a number 2 keeper being English to a back up striker or midfielder? It makes no sense.
Well that is different to having your full time number 2 selected because he is English. Gazzaniga had a fantastic debut and looked great, if the club go that route you would be confident in what he has produced in training. We have generally had someone around the academy that has been capable of filling the 3rd choice keeper slot. It's only been over the last 5 or 10 years we haven't been doing that. It's not even that - I assume some would be happy to promote Gazzaniga to number 2, and have an Academy youngster as number 3, thus freeing up a homegrown spot with little consequence.

I can take us messing up De Ligt but this is a step too far. Levy Out. Pochettino Out. Kane Out. Sissoko In.David MaddockVerified account @MaddockMirror 3h3 hours ago
No progress with keeper search for@LFC. Oblak priced out of market by Atletico, and Liverpool will NOT bid at £88m. Sources say will be "very difficult" to get Alisson out of Roma too. Liverpool may be forced to look elsewhere. Saints' McCarthy on radar
