I hope this isn't true. Hasn't really had a chance so selling him would be very unfair IMO. JJ said he thinks we'll see more of him next season and I hope he's right.

Yeah would be disappointed if this was the case.

This doesn't make sense unless he's injuries are much worse than thought.

He should be given a chance come on Spurs.

I've read this in reverse. It seems like some clubs have offered for him. Makes sense to buy low. But we should not sell low.

Yeah thought about JJs comment when I read this. I certainly want to trust his info over Sky in this case!

Pritchard and Mason being touted at £8m in the press just doesn't look right to me. Unless Levy is well behind the curve on transfer inflation which wouldn't bode well for incomings!

I know Pulis plays in a certain way but if someone can't force his way into the West Brom team, they don't deserve to compete for us in the CL.

I'm one of Pritch's biggest fans but 8 million is decent money for a guy which a poor injury record in the last year but I'd be more favourable of another PL loan where he's being guaranteed some football.

I hope this isn't true but if you were in the players shoes and knew you probably wouldn't be more than a back-up player for us - maybe at the age of 23 he might feel a move is right for him to get a regular starting place. Who knows.

I'm hoping this isn't true. Or, if it is, it's because we've got someone lined up who's better?

But wasn't there a recent statement/confirmation from Levy, that Poch has the final say on all transfers?

We would be crazy not to take £8 million IMO

The only way we would be crazy not to take that is if his leg is about to fall off retiring him from the game. From what I've seen of him when fit for England, Brentford and some limited u21 games he is a far better footballer than Townsend with more ability to influence the whole game as opposed to just the final pass or shot.

I think given that Poch seemed excited to see what he could offer last year before his injury he'd be mad to get rid of him without even giving him a go in pre season. If clubs have shown an interest now they will show an interest after he plays a few games in preseason. That way Poch will have properly looked at him in games and training and be in a position to make a decision on his future. As it stands I think I'm right in saying Poch won't really of seen him play in his team in either friendlies or competitive games.

I always go back to the yellow Sky sports bar saying we were close to signing pujol as proof that sky are full of shit. I'd say this will rank up there with the best of the sky sports bull shit come the end of the season.
