That’s fair. Didn’t grealish start through the middle at villa in the championship? His dribbling reminds me a lot of grealish
I remember Grealish starting as a left winger and then getting a free role once his stock had risen.

Parrott isn't good enough imo. The other two have a chance although I'd rather both see significant game time on loan.
Scarlett would have got as many goals as Richarlison in premier league as Kanes back up imo! Rather we had spent that 60m on a centre back.

If I had to compare his style of play to anyone it would be Gascoigne. I'm not sure I can think of too many others that like to dribble through the midfield like he does.

I looked at the post below yours and I also thought a touch of the Gazza in there, even though he is a lefty he has that close control to shrug off and pass a player. Then I saw your post.

Hasnt got the passing ability though.

I think we should deffinately be improving our English core and this lad ticks a lot of boxes.

So he’s a cross between Gazza, Laudrup and Dembele. Any other legends of the game people want to hang around this poor sod’s young neck?

I really want us to sign him, this one just feels right. Some times I just get a feeling about someone that they’ll go on to great things, even though I’ve never seen them play. And I’m never wrong, just like the time I had that feeling about Andy Reid….

No one is saying he's as good as any of them, just that he plays a similar type of game.

Im reading some unbelievable comments about this bloke. If he signs for someone else he’ll be called the next Harry winks! 😂

I like the idea of signing him, as long as we are actually going to play him and give him a chance. If it’s just another young player bought then loaned, only to then vanish.

An undeniable talent and would be a God send in transitions and winning those freekicks very much ala Grealish which is oh so invaluable.

Only issue is where we'd deploy him and underlined even more so with our ever increasingly likely pursuit of Maddison coupled with perhaps a change in focus making much more accessible pathways for our youth prospects in Devine, Moore et al.

I think a move for Scott would only materialise if we ship out Lo Celso, Winks, PEH pretty sharpish because it won't be long i'm sure before some club makes a concrete offer to Bristol City.

If we sign Maddison he won't play every game and we need someone to deputise for him to maintain the managers tactics, formation etc. We don't want to be in the position where we need to change tactics because someone is injured. Scott looks like he could easily fulfil that role and also it answers the question of succession planning.

What are Bristol City going to do with a load of concrete??
