For a lot of people, this will just mean yet another service to subscribe to. It’s a thumbs down from me.

Apparently they've got the December midweek round, and the round on/around Boxing Day. Makes great sense for them - get people to subscribe to Prime in December for quick delivery in the Christmas period and the Boxing Day games on telly.

Amazon prime subs are very cheap to get hold of in the dark corners of the internet...from a quick look theyre about the same as Netflix, approx $1 per month.

How does that work - charging to stolen cards I assume?

Not sure about amazon, but the Netflix ones are just burner accounts that last a month then die...they have a way of getting round the checks done on a CC when you sign up so you get the month trial but as soon as they try to bill the card it fails and they kill the account.
I'd guess that Amazon is done the same way.

So the 20 games is a bit deceiving. As it’s the midweek package will probably only be 4 separate nights.

10 are midweek, the other 10 are around Boxing Day which was spread over three days last year (26th, 27th, 28th) - I guess potentially the midweek ones could be Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday as well.
They are going to show 5 games a night?

Yeah, matches will be on at the same time so it's not as valuable as 20 games all at different times.

They will stream all games - so everyone will have a match they want to see.

Its not any different than the NBC deal here in the states - all matches are available to stream every week (NBC did announce a new tier this past season - "Gold" package to be able to stream some of the matches (and all teams are on the Gold Package at least 3 times a year).

Been Amazon Prime member for a few years now, it's very reasonable for what you get and this is a nice addition to that.

I mainly use it for Kindle books and Prime TV

Hi Toto, I already have Kindle Unlimited (UK) which works out at about €9.60 a month when the rate of exchange is applied - any idea if I could lose that and still gets books via Prime ?

I dont have Kindle Unlimited, its an extra add on - £8 a month i think

With prime membership you get a number of free books a month ( First Reads ) and that's what i go for, i have 2 devices in my name so just put the books on both devices so me and the missus can read

I have unlimited as I get through about 3-4 books a week so look so looks like I will be running both as the daughter and the Mrs read on their kindles/pads too.

That sort of money I can afford, just about.

Probably not the right thread to post but sort of relates. Just realised BT sport have lost Seria A and Sky have lost La Liga to an online only streaming service called Eleven Sport!? Completely missed this news but it sucks. Their package is only 50 quid for a year but they don’t have a tv channel so you can only stream match’s via a device. I’m so tempted to cancel my bit sports subscription now.

Whaaa, that's crazy. BT Sports also lost the UFC to Eleven Sport and Sky lost the tennis to Amazon Prime, everything is just being split across multiple services unfortunately. If you're a multiple sports fan depending on what they are you're having to pay for 4 or so subscriptions. Fucking annoying.

I might cancel BT Sports now too, as I'll only be paying for the odd PL games and the streaming service I use to watch all the Spurs game shows BT sports anyway.

Plusnet are offering mobile BT Sports for £2.50pm on a 30 day rolling - not bad value imo.

Also, Evelven Sport? You mean Eleven Sports?
