The Spurs game is finally....

FINALLY

FINNNNALLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY going to be in HD on American TV.

When the hell did that happen? I was looking at my sports channels and ESPN is showing the Spurs game at 10.

I knew ESPN was cleaning up overseas in footy but I was under the impression they were implementing it here next year.

Setanta and Fox Soccer channel are still showing the prem games, but now we have another channel for Prem footah. This is the first time I am going to see a Spurs game in HD.

Seriously, this is awesome! I cant tell the difference between Huddlestone and Bale on FSC and Setanta blurovision.

Brits, you have no idea how frustrating it is being a Spur overseas. I may half cook a pie, scald my balls with weak tea and turn the AC to max to recreate the atmosphere.

This is in my future:

You should be here in OZ, with their match choice feature on FoxSports I haven't missed a game and won't throughout October :)

However I am up at midnight tonight and when the clocks go forward I'll be up at 2am :(

I just dropped $250 on a new bulb for it Eek
Yeah the bulbs are bloody expensive on projectors. Luckily mine has been going for 2 years now and i've only used about half of its life. Plus i got a free lamp when i bought it so i wont have to fork out for a new one for a good few years yet

I'm sure you'll love it. Footy in HD is a must. Thankfully some of the La Liga matches have gone HD over here aswell now.

I am pretty pissed to be honest, have just moved into my place in Canada and the landlord said he would have setanta sorted out for today so I could watch the game.........

He has done fuck all about it, gonna sort out my own cable package next week.......specially as his wireless is sporadic, had a few heart stopping moments where the connection was shite, and not connecting at all.

And is it really wrong to have a beer at 9am? Feels strange watching the game and not having one in hand

So, you have no furniture, no decoration but a vast projector, screen, armchair with hole for beer and a kick-ass amp?

Trust ol' Gibbsy... to get his priorities straight.

worst video feed ever. HD or not, ESPN sucked today, on top of being 4 minutes late getting the feed going.

Yeah that juddering was painful, on top of the annoyance of being outplayed by Bolton for much of the game!

Btw, that wasn't full HD but ESPN's cleaned up standard def feed (480p) instead of FSC and especially Setanta's blurry footage. I think at the moment only certain games have HD cameras in the UK some of the ESPN games have been full HD and some only 480p. The game against Arsenal at the end of the month should be full HD.

Yeah there was no way that was HD. It was a little deflating.
