You may have noticed that we play with inverted wingers...that seems unlikely to change anytime soon.
I understand that but it sounds about as effective as playing Lennon at LW... Oh, wait.

We could be targeting Beauvue as a striker option.
I agree, although Beauvue would be coming in as a backup striker I think, with Ayew and Kono as wingers...
Tell you what, if those three come in or £0, £0 and £6m... That would already represent a great start to the window, hope there is some truth in these links!
Do you mean 1 winger + Beauvue + a back up striker or just 1 winger + Beauvue?Yeah I do think Beauvue would play primarily striker, but with his versatility and output I could see him garnering time anywhere, and consequently only moving for one additional winger. I don't think it beyond possibility we could move for two wingers + Beauvue, especially with options such as Ayew and Kono available for free, but I suspect one winger + versatile forward such as Beauvue would also be a possible outcome.
Agreed though, those three in for that outlay would be incredible business.

From what I have seen, Maddison is a #10/support striker, so I don't think he would be a good option. I also don't think Lambert would leave his boyhood club to be 3rd choice for us, plus he is 33, so we would be in the same position next year, if not, the year after. The former. The question would be then, who of course. Who could we convince to come be third choice/second if/when Beuavue is played wide. I think the only way we could make it work is if we brought in a young kid like Maddison, or maybe an older head such as Lambert if Liverpool look to expand their striker options.

Assuming you are keeping Chadli and only one of Townsend & Lamela (with Eriksen & Pritchard fighting it out for AMC), it might more sense to bring in another winger and have Chadli as 3rd striker (as well as fighting for the left spot). That would still give us 6 players for 3 positions, with 5 able to play out wide and 3 able to play striker.
Why move him when he already plays like an inverted winger on the left? To move him based on footedness just seems foolish. He already plays quite similar to Chadli as he cuts in and also acts like a second striker in the box without the ball.True, he hasn't played many games at L'OM as RWF (mainly due to Thauvin) but as he is left-footer, and he's got a decent left-foot shoot, he could easily be switched to the RWF
He may add something defensively but he would be a step backwards form an attacking point of view and he wouldn't add the pace, direct running at players and ability to go outside and cross, that we also badly need out wide.
Cutting inside every single time has never been effective. We need a player that cuts inside AND goes on the outside to cross, not a player that is better defensively but less effective in the final 1/3 than Chadli.Ayew is quick and direct.
He doesn't go outside that much, but then crosses haven't really been effective since the 1990s.

No they're not they're all right footedIf you think he plays quite similar to Chadli I wonder with Ayew you are talking about
Well, you tell playing a players in certain positions based on ther footedness is foolish to all the top manager/head coaches in the world then. Can you name, for ex., a top class left-footed right back or a top class right-footed left-back?
PS! Yes, I do know Irwin, Madlini, Azpilicueta and Lahm are left-footed but apart from those you won't find many more.

You play a guy based on how he plays not on what his dominant foot is. End of.
Of course they do and of course it's no coincidence.Oh well you are into the "twisting word" game now
Yes, of course you do to a certain extent....but my point is that, with few exeptions, quite coincidently the best players in various positions play there "according" to their foot.
