fcuking hell, we've got championship sides rejecting our youngsters FFS. What the hell is going on with our youth development?

That's twice now, Ipswich shipped him back & now Watford after little more than a month.

He looked decent against Charlton for us and was sure he'd do well at Watford.

Maybe he just won't cut it!!!

This will seriously affect his future with Tottenham as 'Arry has been very keen for these youngsters to make their mark in the respective teams they've been farmed out too.
Not a good sign at all as this supposedly is all part of their learning curve.

I heard a whisper he fell out with Woy Keane at Ipswich due to playing style. The Tractor Boy fans seemed to love him. Maybe his attitude leaves a bit to be desired. Who knows?

Bit of a shock because there was plenty in the local press about how they'd been watching him for a while and hoping his cup performence didn't scupper the deal. Don Cowie who plays LM for them has just got fit and this may have prompted this move.

Him scoring last night probably didn't help Andros's case either!

Disappointing but he has looked a talent whenever I've seen him play for us - if it is his attitude, I hope he sorts it as I do think he could be a player.

Weird.

I wrote a few posts after the Charlton game saying how impressed I was with him, he looked very promising, both footed, head up when on the ball, clean striker of the ball.

Looks like he has the ingredients, but to make it as a top player you need a lot more than just talent.

Agree with guate, this could have big ramifications with regard to his Spurs career a la Bostock. Redknapp is keen for all his loanees to go out and pull up trees at their respective clubs - if they can't do it on loan, they have no chance here.

Walker, Caulker, Naughton and a couple of others have been receiving good reviews and are playing every week. This is what Harrington wants to see.

Hasn't Harry said before that he's got the right attitude, though?

One of my work colleagues is an Ipswich fan and he was disappointed he came back as he thought he'd done really well...

I'm pretty sure I heard one pundit say that he doesn't fancy tracking back very much.

But fuck me, sent back for his attitude? A few of these kids need a serious kick up the arse.

We can never really be sure of the situation mind. For example we don't know what the environment was like for him at Watford, whether he was able to click with the existing squad members, and indeed how they react to a little upstart from Spurs coming into the team.

My first game watching Spurs was the reserves was in the early 60's against Arsenal. Bobby Smith played that day. Can't quite get my head around the idea of no reserve side but I'm sure there is logic behind it. What I will say is that I would imagine our boys feel less connection to the club being farmed out. Of course it is not impossible for a youngster to make it with us but without the ongoing connection it may be harder to do imo.

I can only imagine it is his attitude as he started the first game there and by all accounts played really well but then was dropped to the bench and a couple of games later dropped all together.

Also Ryan Mason - went to Doncaster a few weeks ago and started for them but since then hasnt even made the bench? any ideas?

Was MoM in that game, and no-one has ever questioned Ryan’s attitude, so presumably more injury woe.

Andros has worked his way through a fair few clubs without apparent friction, so we should not jump to the conclusion that his attitude is at fault.

I am a bit concerned that no-one has come back in for Bostock or Parrett, this should have been a big season for them, but neither seems to have done themselves any favours in their brief loan spells.

It seems that our current crop of young midfielders are struggling to make a name for themselves when out on loan, whilst our defenders are really excelling, I wonder why this is?
