I thought it looked like a penalty. Maybe Lucas would have gone down anyway, but he was definitely taken out.

And yes, Andy Gray is a dick.

He has always been the same - Bigging up the Sky 4 at the expense of the rest - all the dodgy goals scored by them down the years prop up our beautiful game.

he is a knob, if lucas had actually gone over higgenbottom then a stonewall pen. in my view - and i think the ref and linesman (who signalled gk) he was going down before any contact.

liverpool are shit anyway, we have a great chance to get 3 points at anfield on weds

Andy Gray definitely dislikes Spurs. Every single game of ours where he's commentated he always gets in a dig at us.

I remember in a game against Arsenal (when Berbatov scored and Keane missed the penalty), when Arsenal scored he came out with "just goes to show...form is temporary, class is permanent"

Oh and of course the famous "noooo" when Stalteri scored the winner at the Spammers.

Cock.

Just after Stoke scored and five minutes injury time went up he said, "There's still time for Liverpool to win this". What about Stoke?

At this stage i had been in the pub for about 6 hours and even i could see that he dived. He was going down whatever the defender did.

I think he is a ****, but in that challenge that is being spoken of, the defender certainly didnt get the ball (although I think lucas was 'going down' anyway)

I hate it that when a Sky 4 team loses, even if they get absolutely BATTERED in every area of the pitch like last Saturday, its always attributed to a poor performance by the losers and nothing gets said about the victors.

Sometimes a team doesnt turn up because the opposition dont let them, just like last years Champions League final when United supposedly 'didnt play well,' completely ignoring the fact that they got destroyed by a better team.

The press here make me sick

Manchester United v Spurs

At around 2.30pm last Saturday it looked like Manchester United were just about finished in the title race and that Manchester City were about to pick up a valuable point that would see them move a step closer to that coveted Champions League spot. Chelsea were odds-on to win at Tottenham later on. If all went to form, the Blues would be excused for celebrating the Premier League title that evening whilst Spurs would be missing out on fourth spot yet again.

But that was before a series of unlikely events happened: Paul Scholes popped up with a late, late winner at Eastlands and Tottenham secured a rare win over Chelsea, who saw their captain John Terry sent off and consequently suspended for their next match.

All of which means this match suddenly has huge significance for both sides and should make for a super spectacle. It's not often that a side has a sequence of matches in which they have to play Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United and it's certainly not often that they win all three! It has already been a monumental effort by Harry Redknapp's boys that has allowed them to win the first two but I can't see them complete the clean sweep. Spurs' record at Old Trafford is poor and it's just like Manchester United to find some form when it most matters.

I think United will be too strong for Spurs and will handle the occasion better on their own turf, but I suspect this will be far from straightforward. Tottenham currently possess that priceless commodity of having several players in good goalscoring form and I'm confident they'll get at least one, albeit in a losing cause.
