Was out with my young daughter today & was wearing my Spurs polo shirt, as this guy walked past me he looked at me & said "excuse me, youve got a bit of shit on yer shirt" & then went on to say "Tottenham - you should be following Arsenal" , i turned around & said to him "youve got shit in yer mouth, why would i want to follow them ?? you aint won nothing for four years" he replied " neither have you ? " i reminded him of our Carling Cup Final triumph a year ago, he gave the old "well what is that ??" i said "thats the sort of cup your team has 3 open top buses for you mug - now fuck off" !!!

Just thought i'd share that.

She will need to learn how to talk to Gooners at some point.

No point talking to these idiot Gooners, anyway they dont understand, their team has won Jack shit for 4 years, and they still give it the big I am, dont they realise they are not as good as they think they are and next season we will finish above them in the league . Anyway good one mate for giving the sad Gooner some much needed abuse.

The only person that came out of that exchange not looking like a child appears to have been your daughter

You should have simply turned to your daughter and said "you see my love, this is the kind of person who follows Arsenal. They've always been like that, ever since 1886. It's a real cess pit of a club. I'm so glad we follow Spurs." And moved on.

If only we could all be so elequent... the kind of thing you realise you should have said afterwards!

But, agree with others. Can't you have a go back without swearing in front of your "young daughter"?

My old man said "Be an Arsenal fan"
I said "No thanks Dad, I'll stick with Tottenham"

You swore like that in front of your younger daughter?

Actually i was in an amusement arcade in Butlins & my daughter was sitting player on the Donkey Derby game whilst the Gobby Gooner made his remark & there is no way i would of used those words in front of her.

Sorry but this thread should be deleted. Not having a dig Destroyer but its certainly not Spurs chat and it's even less of something to be proud about.

No need to explain yourself mate. How you chose to raise your own daughter is no ones business but yours.
