He must simply be back up if Johnson doesnt come off. Nothing else makes sense on that basis.
Yet, all the info we have this side is that we won't do a deal if there's no option and also that we want to sign him in addition to Johnson.

There was also a report a few pages back saying Barca would be looking for around €30 mil for him which to me doesn't seem to bad at all. At the moment I guess we just need to see how this plays out, could well be one that goes back and fourth until mid day Friday. Im still skeptical we end up with both him and Johnson but I guess we don't have long to wait.

I think he’s good but on what planet is he world class?

Planet earth ?
There's no rule for application for world class , is there ? Its subjective. So, for me based on what he did and what he could have done, he 'was' world class. Whether he can recapture same depends on his injury state

29 goals 10 assists for Barca in 4414 minutes for Barca senior team. Thats goal contribution every 110minutes. And then his general play not in goal is invaluable as well.

All this before he hit 20 which includes, him being 1 year out injured + another 6 month in recovery.

Had he not been injured, JUST with this statistics, he would go the same $$$ as Bellingham in this market.
Had his injury not been there, he could have easily hit 50 league goals by 20.

You did say world class player though. Not was a world class player or is a potential world class player. Neither of which mean anything to us on a season long loan.

Yes, I did - that was a mistake. Thats why I highlighted was this time. But I dont want to go edit previous posts now.

He was completely available for Barca to play last season. Xavi didnt want to over play him. He did contribute to goals. So ,a possible loan to us isnt a lost cause. We just have to make the deal suitable to us, given his injuries

Well, lets see how it plays out. We'll know by Saturday.

Not convinced that he’ll do well in the premiership but having a number of options from the bench and ability to rest players can only be a good thing.

people talk about his injury record but he played over 50 games last season which ain’t bad.

Yes I did look on Wikipedia for that info.

Barcelona have to shift players to start "operation Felix". Fati seems to be the fall guy to make it happen. Him saying he doesn't want to leave is what every Barcelona player says because if they don't the supporters will literally kill them/make it impossible for them to play again for them if the deal falls through.

Still don't think this deal happens as I don't see a world where Barcelona let him go permanently without a buyback because they never want to look stupid if incase he does revert back to his old form.

Ansu Fati tells Sevilla that he is going to Tottenham

❗️ The striker's father wanted to see him play for Sánchez Pizjuán but the player opted for the Premier League

🤝 All that remains is for the two clubs to agree on the transfer

I believe gbsans the writer is considered very highly for Barca news

Still as I’ve said since he was first linked, I have many reservations.
I mean this in a nice way, so don’t take it badly, but comments like this are my absolute favourite.

If he comes good , great, I always said I liked him. If he doesn’t, we’ll, didn’t I always say I had reservations.

Splinters 😂😂😂😂
