Georgbann said we wanted both last night as well.

Saying now: “Starting to get the feeling September 1st isn't going to be very fun on here... Oh, Tottenham.”

Pretty vague, but assuming that this means it’s Fati or Johnson, and then that’s it for our business.

For all we know he could be basing that solely on Lyall's tweet.

You've been amazing this window mate but surely even you can admit that , based on history, this is the most likely outcome and by some distance
I’m not saying he won’t be right I’m saying we want both as things stand we are talking for both . If one or both collapses then it collapses . But his opinion shouldn’t be taken as fact he’s basing it of playing time. He’s actually stealing a living as a journo

I did think it would almost certainly be a choice between Fati or Johnson.

Which is insane really. Completely different types of player and play on opposite sides too.

This stinks of someone sniffing an opportunity and throwing our plans out the window, all so we don't spend actual money?

Why on earth would we take Fati on a loan and not pursue someone our manager clearly wants as his number 1 target. We're basically getting someone in for 12 months instead of buying someone who the manager wants for his long term rebuild.

Regardless of my opinions on either player and what their worth, it's naffing insane.

But very us

Also nice to see so called top spurs journos tying their name to anything atm cause they don’t know untill the get club feeding them info . Again they’re not proper journos who work themselves into the club . All they are is club aids in the press . The only credible one is Gary and even he’s been off it this year.

I think that's very harsh mate and not accurate.

Back in the day Jacobs used to be just that though. He was the one the club put stories out via. Interesting about face in that regard.

I'd say Matt Law at times as well he's hit and miss but he certainly isn't fed from the PR team like many others are.

Think it'd be a pretty poor move if it's a straight loan without an option / obligation surely the upside of signing Fati would be in the long-term...

I could be wrong, but I doubt he'll come in and make a huge difference right away.
