Does nobody remember Luis Diaz. I’m not sure dealing with that guy has ever worked out for the club. Thanks for Matt Doherty I guess?

Valid point! What if Fati's goals and assists pushed us up the league? We're looking at both short-term (next 36 games) and 2-3 years ahead.

Levy's caution resembles an insurance broker's risk approach. Fati on loan makes sense as a low-risk option.

Relying on Johnson is a gamble, given his unproven track record. Two players might have eased the risk of losing Kane.

What makes me more angry is his arrogance to fuck with transfers

Isn't Johnson a PL player with ten goals in his first full season, and something like twenty one in ninety odd games for them altogether?

I think Richy scored ten goals for Everton the season before we paid 60mil for him?

Not a big a gamble as many players that we have paid more than the proposed fee Forest are asking for?

Richy
N'Dombele

And in relevant terms Soldado or Janssen.

fed up with these transfer dramas led by our clown chairman, I would rather see our young lads like Donley or Yago promoted to first team

Your Fulham stream is waaaaay behind.
Do you seriously believe one league cup game conveys all the information required as to whether a player is good enough?
This is the same Fulham vs Spurs match where the manager played Solomon badly out of position on the right hand side? Solomon is a winger who likes to cut inside onto his right boot, he should never be playing on the right.

We replaced Kane with Richarlison and Maddison. Not sure how people don't get that.
That’s fine with me if that is the case. I’d still like to see players not in our plans long term moved, a more logical 3rd centre half than what is currently at the club and another WF. Fati seemed like a weird choice if we were prioritizing longer term HG options so it not happening doesn’t faze me. I just don’t see us moving players we haven’t fully moved for two windows prior and to date this window so we can sign the positions we need.

Well we didn't want him without an option so that's that.
i think they eventually accepted but once brighton got word they came in and swooped. This stuff happens. just wish it wasn't the year we sold kane and have been so laxidasical about selling our deadwood. but hey, it takes two to tango

I'm not that fussed about missing out on Fati... it's just the way it's happened. And the waste of time.... again ! ... I just hope we don't miss out on our other targets... again !

I feel the same, wasn't bothered about him before but if he comes in long term that's worth the punt but on a one year loan just to give barca a year's grace on his wages, not likely. It's just why apparently so close just to end up not doing it that grates.
