You're absolutely correct in the here and now imo but if he wants say Rose more then you never know. :)

I mean.. imagine if we had Martial, there is no way we could countenance letting him go. Remember he's still only like 20, his ceiling is right at the top, it's not inconceivable that he could end up winning a Ballon D'or, he's that good. No way Mourinho or United are letting him go at this stage, and especially not to a rival, and especially not in a swap deal for a 27yr old left back with 2 good seasons under his belt and recurrent injury problems. There have been some fanciful transfer rumours out there but this is right up there with Isco and Bale for me.

Really don't understand why so many don't mind losing Eric Dier!!!! #instrumental
My only issue with Dier is if he's going to have a hissy fit when asked to play outiside of DM. His positional flexibility is a massive part of what makes him so valuable.

It's all been rumours though so I'm not gonna get on his back for it.

Can't believe people are still thinking this will happen. No chance. He's come on twice and scored from the bench. They aren't going to let him go now.

All depends on who Utd bring in. Mourinho clearly doesn't like him and if they buy in a replacement who knows what might happen.

is there really a chance this guy will come to Spurs?

I think he would yeah, but I dont think a) Jose would be willing to let him go, and b) would sell to us for a price we could afford, honestly it would be at least what they paid for him.be at least

Ultimately I don't think it's Jose's final call on the sale. My guess is that Jose would just give management the hold or sell order and let them ultimately decide who he's sold to.

He played virtually all of last season outside of DM without 'having a hissy fit', so I don't see what the problem is.

It's all the reports linked to the United interest.

As I said it still appears to have just been rumours.

It is probably just unfortunate he scored in both occasions coming from the bench, even for Mourinho himself..
