Cannot stand Mourinho.

The bloke is a gigantic bell end and I'm not surprised at all that he's got the hump over one of his players having the temerity to attend the birth of his own child.

Hopefully it's the straw that breaks the camels back in terms of their relationship and AM will be leaving. Whether we can get him though is another thing entirely.
I used to like him up until Madrid. I think that job/environment broke him

It feels like this is hotting up again. Makes you wonder why and if its linked to the Herc ITK re. a multi move deal. Toby heading their way now to sweeten the deal?

The last line here is where it's stemmed from on RMC "The English club would no longer be opposed to his departure."

Manchester United are no longer opposed to selling #thfc target Anthony Martial but will demand a fee worth at least £60M. [RMC]

Had a quick look on RMC but couldn't make it out. Maybe @tiger666 can get to the bottom of it? (Guessing it's another gossip column thing at best)

French media will be good for this I'd have thought, especially now he's back in Paris.

It's from this:

https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football...e-enfant-1495376.html#page/contribution/index

Which simply ends with

"The English club would no longer be opposed to his departure."

Hmm not quite sure if that is just a throw away comment from RMC to be honest.

It's from this I assume:

I actually started reading that and just assumed it was just the baby stuff

Not sure where HR has pulled the £60m fee bit from though...

As crazy as it sounds, and leaving aside how reliable that story is, £60m for a 22 year old attacked with bags of talent is pretty good. Look at what Everton paid for Richarliason and Sigurdsson - puts it into context.

In a rising market, worst case scenario you're unlikely to lose significant money on that in my opinion.

If £60m is the case we should go balls out and get it done. My guess is that it's not

£60 million? Sold!

If we can somehow do that deal, a lot of clubs (Everton) will feel a little silly about some of their outlay

Le Figaro (French broadsheet) think that Martial will be available for around £50m. Passing on but surely a significant underestimate.

I don't think anyone can take the price of Everton's signings too seriously, they are paying over market value because they have to.

News of his potential departure is certainly hotting up though. Interesting timing along with Herc's ITK last night.

In Mourinho land, nothing bad can ever be his fault.

So all his public utterings will ultimately be utterly self-serving, dedicated to preserving his own mythology as football's Little Big Man succeeding against impossible and unfair odds.

I would never look for facts or truth in Mourinho's comments.

Hotspur Related seem to more and more just pick and chose parts of articles and never posts the links. Really untrustworthy news source if you ask me.

isn't it the same case for Spurs? We do have CL to offer but we don't seem to be making any headway by offering at or below market value

What I mean is Utd basing their valuation of Martial on Richarlison costing £50m. A Utd fan would say 'if he is worth £50m, Martial must be worth £100m' but I don't think Utd will do that.

Us trying to constantly screw prices down is a different matter!
