Interesting. I think that is most likely the right interpretation. Now whether we are really in or if they will let us play along to drive the price up on others and limit our timeline to work plan Bs would yet to be seen if true.Matthew 7:7
Interpretation often referred to as an answer to a prayer, implies that the asking, seeking, and knocking are all described as continuous actions, and in a religious sense that prayer to be effective should also be a continual habit, rather than an occasional plea.
Assuming that there has been a breakthrough in negotiations - or as mentioned above, 7:7 could be July 7th if there is any significance with that particular date.
7:7 could also mean 70+millionMatthew 7:7

I think most of the delay must have been due to them offering Martial around the Europe but no one wouldn have been willing to meet their demand unlike us.Has Hertyid really done cryptic before? I thought he was generally just straight forward about everything. Therefore, I don't think there's anything hidden in that, just means United have eased up and are probably more willing to sell.
Let's face it, we would have had a straight forward refusal a long time ago if they really were adamant that he wouldn't be sold to us, which tells you that they are happy to let him go, as long as they receive a big fee I'd imagine. All the ITK we have had suggested it was possible but difficult, which suggests we had some encouragement from somewhere.
I thought we were led to believe cryptics were not supposed to bring any negative news (surely this would mean there is some positives to take from this ITK) - so assuming it is a £77million valuation, surely we would not meet the fee.
Unless we are doing a swap for Toby as previously mentioned, although I thought Man Utd did not agree with our valuation of Toby of anything greater than £50 million.... not sure it would go down well if we swap Toby and have to pay some on top to secure Martial
They ARE frugal compared to the Manc clubs, Madrid, Barca, Chelsea, etc... their annual wage bill is around £150m, 5 teams in the PL alone are well over £200m.
There are a lot of reasons why we could now start throwing record fees around (CL football again, constantly increasing commercial income, additional Wembley matchday income, new stadium, and ITK) and hardly any reasons to anticipate Juve spending over £50m on a player when they've already spent a large chunk on Costa, and currently have no major outgoings in the pipeline.
As I said they could get in the players head and make them force a move at that magic 40m Euro price, so are still a big threat (especially with Utd keen to sell abroad) but it's clear they have stricter limits to their spending unlike the other big powers in Europe.
If we are supposedly now able to operate on similar financial terms to Arsenal and Liverpool going forward, we can certainly edge out Juventus financially, but of course things aren't always so simple.
Edit: I gave you a clear reason to discount Higuain, the sale of Pogba for £89m a few days earlier! Did you think it was a coincidence that we spent over £100m in the same window we sold Bale? Of course it was related. If Dybala went for £100m then I could see them paying well over the top for Martial, but that doesn't seem to be on the cards.
Mate you literally compared their transfer capacity to Crystal Palace’s in the post I replied to. Now you’re back-tracking and saying “well they’re not on Manchesters and Barcelona level”. Well obviously, that’ll do me.

Don't see why anyone would care rather this and get somebody good in exchange and pay a bit on top than lose Toby for 25 mil nxt season after another year of him not playing much.

People talk so much about swap deals. When did a swap deal ever happen? I don’t recall one ever, not that I pay the hugest attention ...
Ok I don’t care about their shenanigans I’m taking spursAlexis - Mkhitaryan?
Another highly positive sign is if he had visited our training facilities as the ITK has said, he must be open to a move to us.
