Antonio Conte says Harry Winks will not leave Tottenham in January, having proven himself to be a "reliable player". But the Spurs head coach cast doubt over Tanguy Ndombele’s future at the club, giving short shrift to a question about the Frenchman’s role in his squad.

Really happy for winks that he’s playing the way he is. We also really need to keep the home grown quota looking good Too so that makes me twice as happy !

Can "Winksy" maintain this more positive style of play? Im not convinced.
Look I'm far from his biggest fan but he has done pretty much everything you could expect from him under Conte. I have zero complaints regarding his on pitch performances. If Conte thinks he can do it long term then fine he's certainly far improved from what he was doing. Behaviour wise I still have my reservations but can fully understand AC wanting to keep him around.

Right. So that’s our playmaker sorted. Next we learn Doherty is on free kick duties for the remainder of the season.

Good. He's a great lad, despite all the nonsense that gets spouted.

Hopefully he continues to play well. Shown 100 times more professionalism than some of the other players.
