No way would we sell Lennon for £6m. Look at the prices being banded around for other English players, like Barry for £12m and Bentley for £12m. We'd surely look for something more in this region.

You seriously think we'd get anything like 12m for that inconsistent little glamour boy? Take the 6m and invest in someone hungry and enthusiastic about wearing our shirt.

I really can't believe how quickly 'fans' turn on a player. Over the last 2 year Lennon has been one of the few players capable of making somthing happen. When he's been out we have missed the way he stretched the opposition and despite all the 'he can't cross' comments I think with an attacking RB there is less of a need for lennon to be brilliant at that.
As usual some half assed media report says that Ramos wants Lennon out and everyone jumps on the bandwagon. I would be sorry to see him go.
Yes his form recently has been poor but then so has the whole squads' form. He has developed hugely here and with the fans support he might go on to be a really great player.

I thought that I read recently that Benitez said Pennant was surplus to requirements and would be on his way out in the next window.

Why should we demand 12m?? Barry and Bentley are better players than Lennon so why would we have the right to get the same sort of money?

I reckon we will be lucky to get 6m

If you class the last 18months as recent then you are right

Its unbelievable how some Spurs Supporters have turned on Aaron Lennnon. Personally he has the potential still to improve on is Goal scoring -crosses are over rated IMO and when Lennon does improve on his strike rate (which I'm 100% sure about) he'll be priceless.

Thats just the start of what he needs to improve. There is a whole list of things he is not very good at !

Fuckn fickle spurs fans. Anyone can see lennon has massive potential and he shows glipmses of it every game. He has obviously lost it abit this season but to sell him now at 20yrs old would be fucking mental. Its not like we're blessed with numerous other options on the right is it?? God sake

Only way id let him go to liverool would be if we got babel in exchange!

And keane leavin gis the dumbest thing ive heard. Even if someone offered 30mill levy would tell them to f off

Looking at it from Lennon's point of view , I think a change might do him good .

He's 21 , a multimillionaire . You get the sense that he thinks he's done enough...For a kid he's not been improving the last season or two, lost his England place too .

I think he'd be stimulated and would realise more of his potential playing for instance , in front of the Kop in a CL team .

From a Spurs point of view though , I don't want a rejuvenated Lennon tearing our defence to pieces . I'd require more than 6 mill to compensate myself for that possibility .

and he was injured/ill for quite a bit of last season

if anything he overperformed in his first season. I'm all for us addding another right sider to the squad, but not at the expense of Lennon.

I only saw the Motd highlights but it seemed to me that Azza combining with Huddlestone was our most creative outlet...let's sell em both!

Lennon had one of his better games yesterday, even though he has not come on as much as I hoped this season, I think we should keep him, he still has loads of potential and is still young

I think we should keep Lennon and purchase a left winger (Capel - please please please!!!!) who would provide pace and a decent threat down the left.

This would mean defenders couldn't mearly double up on Lennon confident that whichever player we stick on the left isn't gonna start skinning them and whipping in crosses.

Reckon Lennon would show a big improvement then - look at Man U for example, even if a team sucessfully (very unlikely though!) mark Ronaldo out of the game they usually then have Giggs or Nani down the left too to contend with!

no way can I see seville selling Capel or any of their decent players to us

and yes I do know about his release clause and yes I do think the Seville chairman will find a way to 'circumvent that' in our case

re Lennon - I want him to stay - but crosses are important - he did some good ones yesterday BTW -

one of the reasons Bentley is a good/very good prem player is his crossing ability
