I am just floating around going back and forth.

I think if we get to the semis, I might either ask the guy next to me if I can use his card- though we don't really know each other that well (!)- or just go in person.

Yeah mate - an 'ANY AVAILABLE SEAT' option with a drop down would be fine for these types of games

It would probably be useful if there was some kind of automatic allocation system alright; they could create a hierarchy of the best seats and allow people to enter their price range, and then allocate them the seats that match their criteria closest.

or perhaps offer them that option, and allow them to take their chances searching while others might take that option

Exactly, cant believe they use this system when demand is so high....

I queued from 3am outside the ticket office and there were about 200 people ahead of me in the line. Apparently the guy at the front of the line was there from 11pm yesterday. Anyway, by 9.30 the queue had about 800-1000 people outside. I got to within 50 people from the front once tickets were bought and people moved along and BANG all tickets sold out. I was however fortunate that the wonderful mrs got through on the phone and bought our tickets. Felt really bad for the lads that I had met in the queue as they all missed out along with the other 800-1000 that were behind us

Fair play to you mate for having a go... we did suggest midnight eh! :)

Heard it kicked off when it sold out, is that the case?

I logged in at 8.15am, moved at a decent but unspectacular rate, i got about 1/3rd way by 9.30am...my mate went on at 8.50am and got in at 9.40. its all about the speed of the computer and luck of the queue i guess!

btw all that rubbish about "if u hit refresh u will join back of queue, u dont...in fact u move forward!

cant be moaning as he got tickets in park lane lower! makes up for missing out on milan!

Yeah kicked off (sort of) when they closed the doors but I think that was just frustration getting the better of a few people given they had been out there for about 8 hours with no end product

If this "system" is the best they've got, why can't we just have a ticket lottery? It's a lottery anyway, so why not have one that doesn't involve staring at the red bar for three hours? Those OH members that want tickets apply in advance and then you're notified if you get tickets. Obviously loyalty points would be better, but that's not going to happen.

Luckily I knew how much chance I had of getting a ticket today, so I hadn't booked flights and hotel in advance. No money wasted, fortunately. And since the waiting time gave me ample opportunity to do some much needed tidying up around the house I found NOK 200 I didn't know I had. Silver lining and all that...

What time did it sell out at the ticket office?

I drove down (dnt live too far) at about 5:30am, followed the queue round the street, then decided it was too long and too risky, and i'd be better off using multiple computers at home and having a go online.

Logged on 7:45 - 8am on various computers, got in at about 10:45 and got two single tickets really close to each other. At 10 my mate called and said the queue at the ticket office had moved pretty quick and I should have waited..nearly left the computers to go have a look but in the end turned out ok, just about!

It's nothing to do with the speed of your computer. It is a pure lottery dressed up as something else.

Out of interest mate, how did you get two separate tickets near each other? Do you have to go into the individual block once, add one ticket to the basket, and then go back to the same block and add another?

I couldn't see how, when you want two tickets near each other (if there aren't any together), you can search for that option.

The queue moved reasonably quick but I got literally just outside the betting shop next to the ticket office at about 10.45 and they declared all tickets were sold at about that time. Luckily the mrs landed the 4 we were after on the lottery of the telephone lines!

you can search for the nearest seat to a particular seat can't you?

I got a seat on the roof somewhere. I was so scared of missing out after the milan game that i just clicked on the least obvious place in the ground to get one as quick as possible.

It's not quite on the roof - block J on the east stand but it will just be nice to be there. I feel for everyone that missed out though. Its an awful feeling. :(
