I have a soft spot for Cheltenham Town and Forest Green Rovers both of whom I used to watch when I was living in Glos.

I used to go watch Aberdeen when I lived up there. Could go and watch Lincoln City from time to time but, in the 13 years I have lived in Lincoln I have never been to watch them play. Although I could probably get a free ticket as the son of one of my colleagues plays for them.

Born in High Wycombe so always looked out for Wycombe Wanderers' results, even though I haven't lived there since '95.

Last time I saw them was the FA Cup semi v Liverpool in '01 at Villa Park. Great day out.

I used to watch both Borehamwood and Hendon.

Thesedays I get to watch womens games here in Louisville which has a nice bonus of the players friends going along too. It's not a butch dyke sport here (they have Rugby for that) so usually there is some quality on show...

I'd prefer this to watching a 0-0 in the Conference or Ryman divisions in the pissing rain.

My brother has lived in Oakland Calif. for about 18 years now, he was quite useful rugby player, trained with Sarries at Cockfosters as a young fellah but didnt break into the big stuff

He played to a reasonable stand in the USA, and coached firstly a team of "ladies" where about 25% of the team was heterosexual, and then a mans team where about 0% of the team were het's.

Now trains a fully hetero rugby team made up of 20 stone 6'6 fijians, samoans and rather large chappies.

Incidentally the team I always look for their results first is the "o's"

We used to go the Brisbane Rd (West side) on Saturdays when Spurs were away..

Spurs 2/6d for kids
O's 1/6d and programme given with entry.

Happy days.

Me little Bruv is a lightweight at 6'5 and 18 stone

barnet. my dad lived behind the ground and my nan lived long after that. we used to jump over the fence and get in the ground for free.
quite often the ball would come over and we'd keep the ball even if the ballboy knocked on the door.
went every home game for about 5 years. my dad still has a season ticket.

The mighty Exeter City, my hometown club, went to practically every game up until i left for uni etc. If im honest i probably feel more connected with them than i do Spurs, being that i havent got to WHL in the past decade!

Its strange, having 2 teams doesnt feel wrong, i suppose its like ECFC are my sister, i was born into the relationship i grew up with them and ive watched them change over the years, ill always assosiate them with home and being a kid, evenm if i havent seen them for a while. It also helps when the club you live with goes through as much drama as most clubs put togtheer! From being hours away from complete extinction to bringing Man Utd back to our place, from jailed chairmen to Uri Geller and Micheal Jackson. Lets not forget that we taught Brazil to play football (its true, sort of)

THFC are more like my wife, i didnt know them for a little while until one day i saw them and chose them to spend my life with (a big decision at the age of 4) . You can insert as many crappy analogies about wives/THFC to do with driving me round the bend.

QPR.

I'm from Milton Keynes but can't stand MK Dons. Joke of a club with plastic fans. Sum up pretty much everything I hate about modern-day football business. I've been to watch them a few times but its a painful experience being surrounded by so many clueless twats.

Quick update - York lost 1-0, we all got soaked & I discovered a hitherto unknown leak in my already leaky shoes.

I'm a Plymouth girl, but didn't really start looking out for their results until I got interested in football at the age of around 13/14. Was living in London at the time and I suppose my elder brothers had an influence on me as who to support. They followed Spurs and when they brought a programme home I looked thru it and saw Glenn Hoddle and his pins...that was it...followed Spurs ever since! lol

I keep an eye on how Coventry are getting on as I have some friends from there who go often enough. It does get a bit old though when they keep going on about their finest hour in 1987
