Maybe they are but they're still ahead of us and that's the most important factor here. I think with United's new signings they'll be pushed to the last day for top 4 like they have been in recent seasons. Realistic chance they might miss out this season but they'll finish above us regardless.
They won't miss out, Mr 'rent a quote' and his 'group' will be the ones missing out.

Yes. This annoys me. They always find a way to. We always find a way not to.
I think that has more to do with belief than ability they have self belief that they are a big club and they are great we seem to believe we shouldn't be there in the first place and almost in awe of the teams around us

Did anybody watch all/most of the Villa game? I only watched a few minutes just before they scored the first..and missed the next two having a shit then turned the stream off.

them vs Villa today was like Spurs vs Wham on Lasagna Day. Paul Lambert has even said he's considering cancelling training for 2 days so everyone can get over the virus going round.

Funny Lambert copying the Roy beard but no excuses after the game. Roy calm on the bench, too so I will not read too much into this result. I still believe Arsenal are slipping.

Arsenal's wage bill now more than Chelsea's for the first time in 10 years. Yet I think they are further behind them on the pitch for a decade.

Worth noting they are guessing, this may not be true

They are saying Chelsea's wage bill has stayed same since they got rid of Cole, Lampard, Ba, Luiz, Eto and Torres.

But totally forgot that Chelsea are still paying part of Torres wages and don't forget they added new players in Fabregas, Costa, Luis Felipe, Drogba and Remy. They also gave new deals to Courtois, Azpilcueta, Terry and Schwarzer. They are also now fully paying Zouma's and Courtois wages.

Arsenals wages are shocking though

they subtracted from chelsea and negelcted to add, but added to arsenal, but neglected to subtract the wages of those that left. doesn't matter, all will be revealed when chelsea releases their annual reports.

also if arsenal's wage bill is what it is then it's the 4th highest (chelsea's will be higher for the same accounting period) and they finish 4th.

Bench isn't overly strong either if Wenger wants to change it. Looks like he's not concerned at all with this competition.

Probably not. Starting 11 does include Sanchez and Wilshere but mainly their second string. But then Southampton have made 5 changes too. Anyway Arsenal could still end up winning this comfortably. Let's hope not though!
