Yeah great work from Arry. The way he's handling Pav is top classEek

Harry often gets slagged off on here for his substitutions (sometimes fairly,othertimes not so fairly imho) but i don't think that anyone could argue anything else other than he got his subs spot on today.

Come the end of the season, Pav's late two goals today could prove vital.

because Bentley is a right mid and the right side wasn't giving Wigan a sniff were as Kranky on the left was getting abit frustrated and after how the subs completely changed the game I don't see how anyone can have a bad thing to say about them

No agenda mate I've just been disappointed with the way he's under used Pav as well as a few other things

Great result today, oh and well done to Harry for bringing on two top class players from the bench today:wink:

thing is they both came on when Wigan were tired and throwing everything forward so Luka and Pav exploited this perfectly with fresh legs on the break

if they'd have started they might not have contributed as much but again it's pointless discussing as there's no definitive answer

fact is Harry made the changes at a good time just when Wigan were getting on the front foot abit looking for a late equalizer and we reaped the rewards from a great managerial decision

Modric could never play any worse than Kranjcar so that was a no brainer.

IMO Crouch should have been substituted in place of Defoe, where both Defoe and Pav would have benefited from Modric's service.

So unlike you I, am not going to get a hard on over Harry's "substitution"s

i know what you're saying but i think kranjcar only had one game on the right.
i dont think that's enough to judge wether he offers less than bentley there or not. he's certainly a cleverer player than bentley.

wether he can offer as much balanace to the team there as bentley remains to be seen, but i'd like to find out

and I was waiting for someone to say Crouch should've went instead of Defoe as I felt that way at the time too but the proof is in the pudding he made the right decision who's to say Pav and Defoe wouldn't have gotten in each others way for his first
