his subs worked well 100% considering we scored two gaols, but to be honest, i don't see any thing special, he just do his usual changes, Mid for Mid, striker for striker & even King !

I thought Crouch wasn't any better than Defoe, who scored one and used his pace to beat a player and force Kirkland to good save, as for Crouch his pace didn't help him to take his best chance. so I thought he would take him of for Modric to switch it to 4-5-1, which is more defensive and creative ( specailly with us leading 1-0 away from home ) .. then you wouldn't mind if he took Defoe as well for Pav.

God it's worked well due to Modric showed his class within a few mints, if he played like his recent two appearances, I'm sure a lot of us could moan about Kranjcar sub !

They were good subs, brought on at the right time. I'm not sure it was completely Harry's choice to bring Pav on, i think the chants from our crowd may have tempted him. But the important thing is, we had 3 international quality subs come on and help us to victory.

Some people are impossible to please it seems. Wigan never looked like scoring, we pretty much controlled the whole game and the subs came on and finished it all off.

But no. The subs should've started, apparently. Also apparently we have a world class bench so whoever he brought on would've made a difference (cos that always happens). And someone's even put inverted commas either side of the word 'substitutions' as if to say they weren't real substitutions.

Well done Spurs. Shit pitch, up north where we're usually a soft touch, controlled the game, some good passing football in shit conditions, won 3-0 away. Happy days.

This, and one of the only sensible posts on here. Which everyone seems to have glossed over.

no i thought it could be

Pav
Modric
Niko - wilson - Hudd - Bentley

by the way, i wouldn't mean we are going to score 2-0 or 3-0 or 4-0

yesterday the subs were good because Modric played very well far from anyone expected. I'm saying this because still Harry don't change the system away from home, even if we are leading.

I really would give this a try, as I'm still unsure with Defoe-Crouch partnership. Nothing against Harry

some of the fans love for Pav is sickening.
It's like Harry can do no right by you lot.

You dont play Pav he gets slated, you bring him on scores he gets slated!

Pav played near a full season last year and did little to help us try and stay up the odd goal here and there, also start of the season he just wasn't interested. only interested in LEAVING.
Now he is stuck here he has started playing? and your all rimming him. its disgusting.

Crouchy tries EVERY GAME works hard in training and also scores a few, yet gets no love?

pathetic.

or you can look at what actually happened without needlessly bashing our manager

Modric was crap against Bolton and Niko came on and played well so he earned the start today. The line up Harry put out was winning the game and Wigan were creating very little and tiring so Harry made 2 good attacking subs and Wigan didn't have enough left in the tank to handle them.

How you mugs can critise the manager when we won 3-0 away from home on a fucking rugby pitch is beyond my comprehension
You seem to have a bee in your bonnet when anyone dares to criticise or make comments on Redknapp. I see you making similar comments on another thread. I have news for you. He has quite a few deficiences which has become apparent to some supporters. We could question his tactical awareness, his integrity when it come to some players, his overindulgence with the media, his alleged flaunting of the law in financial matters etc etc.

Saying that, a lot of us Mugs would not want Harry to go (Not yet anyway) as we do enjoy how he has us playing, the players he has brought in and the way the season has panned out so far. I personally think that he should be given at least a couple more season with the appropriate transfer funds to see whether or not he can take us even higher (Believe it or not, he has taken us up a level - from a Mugs point of view).

We as supporters will cheer the team on the day, but we pay our hard earned money to subsidise the club, so therefore should be able to comment and air our opinons as we fit against players and the managing personel of the club. They would not have a job enjoy the life style that they do without us the fans, whetherwe pay at the turn stiles or subscribe to Sky and ESPN.

Redknapp has never been and it is doubtful whether he will ever be our best manager, only time will tell.

Can you blame him though? We re-signed Keane and Defoe, then we sign Crouch. So Pav was clearly seen as a 4th choice up front. I don't know what his attitude has been like this season. Only those at the club know for sure.

But there are two sides to every coin, and i can understand if Pav has been feeling down this season. Heck, the same could have been said for Bale and Bentley earlier in the season. It can't be easy to stay positive when not given a chance.

I just think the fans want him to get a chance to show what he can do.

That's the thing not everyone feels that way I've read posts from idiots claiming we should be 10-15 points better off and challenging for the title or we've become a long ball team or Harry's a fucking ignorant idiot. In some peoples eyes he can do no right. They'd have him hounded out and replaced with some foriegner with a fancy name and we'd be shit again. Alot of people don't know a good thing till it's gone then they want it back but it's to late.

As far as Crouch goes I didn't think he was great yesterday either and at the time wanted him off instead of Defoe but the outcome of Redknapps decision proved he made the right one. Anyone who wants to argue against that is a mug. Crouch imediately linked up well with Modric in the lead up to him hitting the post and Pav scored a brace.
