true, probably in desperate need for some kind of money though after bankrolling us into the UCL :D
maybe they'll promote that Morata and use ronaldo as a forward with bale and isco to either side of him. They really don't need Benzema imo

I can't see how they could sell Benzema tbh, it is just too much of a gamble.

I agree - then I thought of our friend in the north east who likes a nibble.

Suarez wouldn't be allowed to leave for less than 55 to 60 million. There is no way they would be able to raise that sort of cash, after the Bale deal. Also FSG won't let them have him on an IOU, they would be nearly as ****ish as Levy about ensuring payment structures were in place with seriously harsh penalties for late payments.

By certain type of player he means a player who represents genuine value for money and they are out there. Capoue and Chadli are both those type of players, as is Eriksen. Wenger just is too shy to pull the trigger at the moment.

Is it money or type of player. We will just have wait and see. I can't see what AW is angling for. He lost Podolski and Oxlade-Chamberlain. Flamini yes I can see the logic, knows the setup, fits straight in.

But he need some fresh blood

So Arsenal, who have been without a defensive midfielder ever since Mathieu Flamini left the club five years ago, have finally got around to replacing him :ROFLMAO:

Just had to post this comment from a Gooner on the BBC website comments section on the article about Flamini signing...enjoy!!!

Flamini to Arsenal is world class, once a gunner always a gunner. He rejected AcMilan to play for us again and his experience and defensive qualities is worth more than any Tottenham signing (overpriced overrated garbage).

As long as they are finishing in the top four Wenger can justify his lack of spending. IMO it is 50/50 between us and them as to who gets top 4 at the moment but if they do manage to get that extra bit of quality then they will have the advantage.

Yeah...it's like no other club has brought in five players over Summer before :)
Actually, Spurs brought in five last Summer..and to be even more exact, when the transfer is finished it is more likely to be closer to ten - totally de-stabilise the club.
Indeed, he has brought two in, they are supposedly after another two or three, so either he runs exactly the same risk..or he has no intention of bringing anymore players in and thy are lying to the Arsenal fans. Which is it Mr Wenger?
Seems increasingly isolated from reality, to me.
