As much as I like Lamela, Eriksen and even Chadli, I don't see them as - at this moment in time - to really be playing with the confidence and desire that we'll need to beat Arsenal. Put Kaboul and Chiriches in the defence for some comedy action and it's not looking good. We have to hope that if Ade plays, he channels his usual passion in these games to a positive rather than destructive end. Seeing as Moussa seemed to undo all his good work against Sunderland in the WBA game, maybe we'll see Stambouli + Capoue for more solidity and bite but no real creativity?
It's a shame as they're weak at the back at the moment and not exactly firing on all cylinders, but the standard narrative of this situation is we're a nice springboard for them to really get going, and I reckon we'll probably oblige nicely unfortunately..
both teams to score but i think a 4-1 loss. we could nt get a shot on target against wba at home but i think the atmosphere should raise the players a bit. even so im dreading it. Hoping for a freak they hit the post four times, have a couple of dodgy offside decisions and we get a late dogy pen.
I think we'll lose 3-0. What's most disappointing about these games is we seem to concede very early on. Then we get opened up whilst trying to force an equaliser, often nearly score then conceded a few rather rapidly.
I hope we can stay tight and push and frustrate them but we never seem to be well organised.
