Jose?
I was thinking of several people in this very thread - and some blokes who stand behind me in Block 451 of the South. Maybe they're the same people...
Jose?
This was great play from us yesterday. Shame about the final ball.
Raya over Vicario? Don't think so.
I don't think Saliba individually is any better than Romero either, but it's a close call.
I also don't get the wank fest over Saka, sure he plays really well sometimes, but there's no consistency there, i'd say he's even's with Deki.
Martinelli I agree is probably better than what we have right now and I'd take Odegard over Sarr, but that's it.
Not so sure. Agree with your points, but Porro and Saka would be a much more imbalanced combination than Porro and Deki.Saka would sleepwalk into our team and this is coming from someone who rates Kulu highly. Kulu struggles to beat his man at a dead stop, his real A-game is his vision and passing during the transition.
Come on. Saka is a different level to Kulu. In that case rather play Royal than Porro. Not so sure. Agree with your points, but Porro and Saka would be a much more imbalanced combination than Porro and Deki.

Good post.Bit nerve-wracking at times.
But two excellent fighting team comebacks.
Both goals well taken by Captain Son
from Maddison assists.
Both theirs a bit fortunate.
Unbeaten in six, top four
15 goals without Whatsisname.
I could get to like this.
Thanks Ange
I'm not disagreeing with that. But I don't think we should underestimate how important Deki's work off the ball is, and the balance it brings to our right side at the moment. Saka would get into our team, no questions about it, but he wouldn't "sleepwalk" into replacing Deki. That's overrating Saka and underrating Deki, even if Saka is the better player.Come on. Wonder if Porro shooting would have been the better option?Thought it was great defending from Gabriel rather than a lacking final ball tbh. He does brilliantly to get back in time to cut it out. Sure Son would have buried it if he hadn’t got there.
Rewatching the Nketiah tackle gets worse every time.
straight red and 3-match ban IMO
Compare to that Chelsea fella who got sent off for a much tamer tackle.Rewatching the Nketiah tackle gets worse every time.

Stockley Park must have looked at both tackles in the same afternoon, and come to completely different rulings. WTF.Compare to that Chelsea fella who got sent off for a much tamer tackle.
Agree. If you need to look at an incident for longer than that then it's not a clear and obvious error. Something meeting that criteria would take 1 or 2 looks, maximum. What few have picked up on is Madison was on the floor when the penalty was given, wrestled to the ground as the corner was taken.
When the VAR was going on they looked at it a couple of times and did nothing. Basically it resulted in Madison not being able to tackle the gooner and then deflected the shot on to Romero.
They then decided not to advise the ref to have a look at that but concentrate on the handball. Be interesting if Webb does an explanation when he next does his thing with Owen.
They really need to sort out this opinion based var decisions, as people have said should be a limit of 90 seconds or so to decide or its not bloody obvious.
Yeh I found it odd that they didn't ask the ref to take a look at that part too. What few have picked up on is Madison was on the floor when the penalty was given, wrestled to the ground as the corner was taken.

They need to limit the amount of playbacks that the VAR refs are using. Given them max 2 replays from max 3 angles (i.e. 6 in total) and if they can't see something that is clear and obvious in those replays then original decision stands.Agree.
