I just find it hard to accept. I was pleased maybe not pleased excepted when they equalised. I thought second-half we would come out fighting and rather than defend one nil.We have this every year especially away from home the team and manager are beaten before the game starts it's an easy guaranteed three points for them no matter how good or bad they are playing.
If you don't try to win (or at least attack) you deserve to lose. You know what, looking at it again...not a pen, however we still deserved to lose
Not a penalty in the million years. From the off I said to my son I can see the refs not going to be impartial with some of the small decisions he was making early on, you can just tell. You know what, looking at it again...not a pen, however we still deserved to lose
Yes I know what you mean the trouble was the moment we scored I knew we would struggle to see it out.I just find it hard to accept. I was pleased maybe not pleased excepted when they equalised. I thought second-half we would come out fighting and rather than defend one nil.

Funny thing, if Laca actually hits the ball and misses that most likely won't be given as a pen. Only reason it was is because he missed. Tragic decision.
it's not like bad matches can happen for every manager in the world, especially in the Emirates where we have won once in PL history...please sack him, I want to enjoy watching football again.
My God, man. You're trying to be reasonable? After marginally losing to a horrific penalty decision?it's not like bad matches can happen for every manager in the world, especially in the Emirates where we have won once in PL history...
I won’t complain if I don’t ever see Doherty start a game for us again. If Aurier isn’t available, I’d still have confidence on Tanganga over Doherty.
My God, man. You're trying to be reasonable? After marginally losing to a horrific penalty decision?
Please leave, sir.
Davinson bleeding over the result and clearly unhappy with Oliver. And I think he's got a point. I don't think it was a penalty - Lacazette kicked him not vice versa - and Lamela for all his shithousery didn't deserve the second yellow.
But the result is totally deserved. And all on the players who were woeful from the start. Dreadful, sloppy, uncommitted performance particularly from Bale; Tanguy; PEH. Doherty was poor but was hung out to dry by the players above.
Decent effort to fight it out. That's the only positive from a dreadful dreadful day at the office.
It's not one match is it? It's like you only judge the manager on his last performance?it's not like bad matches can happen for every manager in the world, especially in the Emirates where we have won once in PL history...
Yup we have only played one game this season ?My God, man. You're trying to be reasonable? After marginally losing to a horrific penalty decision?
Please leave, sir.
And I will find you many examples of entertaining football under Mourinho, under Poch, under other previous managers or future. Same with completely not entertaining. It's not one match is it? It's like you only judge the manager on his last performance?
Moreover, imagine if JJ was still close to some of the players. Not too much of a stretch to assume he wasn't speaking solely for himself is it?Now imagine if JJ was still a Tottenham player.
I think Bale will be feeling exactly the same.
As JJ says, bringing Bale off has the potential to reverse all of the good work done. Was he playing well? Was he tracking back? No to both of those. But Bale doesn't want to be tracking back and offering zero in attack.
Some are adamant that he needs to show more effort off the ball but whilst I'm someone who wants to see players working their arses off, I don't think you can apply that to players like him. For a start, he can't run around like he used to anymore, so needs to choose his bursting runs. Secondly, you need him as the attacking focal point.
Ronaldo is a classic case. Zidane. Ancelotti and others have basically given Ronaldo a free pass in terms of defensive duties because they have wanted him to reserve his energy in the final third. Which proved to be the correct decision. Jose berated Ronaldo for not tracking back to which point they fell out.
The same thing could happen here if he's not careful. And players will start to take Bale's side cause they know how much difference he can make.
You've now got Arsenal fans saying Tierney had Bale in his pocket, which is ridiculous. Whenever the ball.came close to him he had 3 or 4 arsenal players around him with not much in support.
As soon as we got that goal. Jose should have been demanding the team to press Arsenal. They weren't expecting the goal and it would have had an effect on their mentality. Instead we let them regain composure and come back at us.
Leave him alone DiV had only just looked at the PL TableMy God, man. You're trying to be reasonable? After marginally losing to a horrific penalty decision?
Please leave, sir.
As I wrote earlier on - they had moments of domination and so did we. For all their fight, they really didn't create more clear cut chances than us.the scoreline was marginal.. the result wasnt! they outplayed/outfought/outthought on every aspect of the game. if you're not questioning why we was so poor, then wow.
