Foyth should not have started...should have been Toby.

We were extremely fortunate to go in 2-1 up at half time. Emery made changes then an we didn't react.

Should have brought Toby on at half time for Dier or Foyth and gone 5 at the back.

We were awful from start to finish but when we found ourselves 2-1 up we should have started to manage the game.

Terrible in game management and in the end Arsenal were worthy winners.

I blame Poch followed by Foyth and Aurier.

Fucking hell, yes we've been bad, but some knee jerk comments in here are insane. We were outplayed and out managed. Plain and simple.

Don't forget, we absolutely slaughtered an unbeaten Chelsea last weekend and beat a resilient Inter mid week. Could be a hell of a lot worse. Could be a Utd. fan...

Its the basics though - being tactically managed by an experienced manager is fine but the basics of putting on subs or not playing an inexperienced defender in such a high profile game is something that should not be happening.

Anyways that game is over now. We have a couple of games that we ought to be winning and should be back up there soon.

With the fullbacks we have it puts us at a significant disadvantage against teams who use width and have effective use of wings.

Agree, I know everyone is highlighting the midfield but I think fullback is our biggest weakness at the moment

I believe that not having to play there first team midweek had a huge baring on the performance .
As for Arsenal I will be looking forward to the return which could be at our new home will be interesting after todays shenanigans.

Not really sure it's Dier and sissoko's fault either. Was clear from the start that it wasn't the game for them, at least in the diamond formation. We were way too narrow and everything was bypassing them. That's really pissed me off that has

The fact that Arsenal showed more fight, more desire and more attacking intent than we did is honestly a disgrace. This is a derby game, our biggest rivalry, and we brought nothing whatsoever.

I can take losing, but I can't accept a lack of fight and that tends to stem from the managers. Emery was intense and animated while Poch was entirely too placid and accepting of our performance.

Arsenal were much fresher than us unfortunately. Our midfield and fullbacks didn't have the same energy as Wednesday.

In hindsight rose, winks, Lucas should've been in.

Davies and aurier aren't good enough for top 4 side.might be ok as backups if we had decent first choices but is the biggest area of the squad for me we need to address in january if we are going to continue to play the same system as we are so reliant on width from them

Losing is always painful, but I can accept it. What I can't accept is when we lose because of the same mistakes over and over agian.

On the assumption that Alderweireld was fit, there's no way Foyth should be starting this game. I admire Poch's faith in the player, but you end up making it worse by throwing in someone into an environment he's clearly not ready for.

Add in substitutions, or lack thereof, and it's the same story.

Poch is the greatest manager we've had in my lifetime, but his stubbornness is his biggest flaw.

Forth was not our worst player today. Davies has been out worst player this season. But in Aurier with Davies we look very poor at Back.
